WISH YOU WERE HERE
To the team of artists behind this comic: GREAT WORK! The linework throughout the comic is exceptional. As the art style shifts with the different inkers, you guys excel at maintaining a cohesive look throughout. The return of the first victim, Rose, was fantastic—her character is so well done and it really added a remarkable depth to the end of this story.
It's been a long time coming and I'm glad to have seen such a well-done ending. Bravo to each and every one of you!
A DIFFICULT GOODBYE
This was a brief, but nice little moment with Morgan! Would love to maybe see her carry these feelings forward in future comics. It seems to have left quite an impact on her :O.
THE ROSE THAT GREW FROM CONCRETE
Another great collab! The 4th panel on page 43 absolutely killed me, LOL.These pages are just a super rich tapestry of content. I like how it sort of acts as a re-cap and more "current" conversation at the same time. I felt it was a good way to end this set. Hats off to y'all!

What an amazing end to an amazing event!
To repeat what Riv said, it was an honour to be part of it, and what you guys came up with for the send off was incredible and everyone should definitely be proud!

Oh my god, it's here!! CONGRATS EVERYONE. This event was an interesting era in Void history and you made some wonderful comics to send it off.
"A difficult goodbye"
Sweet and sentimental, thank you for throwing your hat in the ring Energy.
"The Rose that grew from concrete"
- I can tell you had a good time revisiting moments and exploring them with your characters.
- These kinds of meta, wordy comics aren't always for me- but I can see some folks enjoying this kind of narration.
- Thank you for being a part of this event!!
"Wish you were here"
This lineup got me excited, so many creators I admire in one place, such a treat.
- The blending of different pencils and inks was seamless, there were so many extremely cool combos and results. I found myself trying to guess who worked on what xD
- The banter between the characters felt natural and made me chuckle a few times.
- I loved Dairyu and how pragmatic and blunt (and a little brutal) she was. I also really enjoyed Nagores light-hearted personality / when she gets serious you feel it. All of the characters were a blast tbh I just have a soft spot for these ladies haha.
- "My name is....Rose o/////o" That bit was so cute omg
- Dairyu vs Ran moment, scary and hype, great tension and emotion!
- The final panel on page 28 was SUPER well done, gave me chills.
- Beautiful art, great drama, strong character moments and buckets of heart. YOU SHOULD ALL BE SO PROUD <3

On to the feedback:
The change in artstyle that was sometimes distracting. But I do get that it was a collab, so it was bound to happen.
Also some panels were hard to read as they were flat (without any greyscale or texture).
Story wise, for me, some drama between characters felt kinda out of place for the main plot as it takes you out of it, and I would've loved if Oleander never understood what he did wrong and went out like that, but again this is more of a personal taste.
Great farewell for a great antagonist, good job everyone.

It was an nice read, respect for you for being able to juggle so many characters at the same time.
Loved the little antagonist role that Dairyu had in this and how music was a key to help all this get resolved.

Well done everyone and what a great send off to Oleander!
It was an honor to be part of the Extinction journey and seeing how everyone continued the story from the last battle was such a treat to read. It was yet another great testament to the community's creativity.

These were lovely comics and I deeply regret that I never managed to fight Oleander myself!

"Wish You Were Here", in my mind, initially came from two places.
- I wanted to continue exploring the mindset of Oleander post-Weeding while honoring the kill the Valkyries clinched
- I wanted to explore what Oleander's lover was like. I don't like fridging as a narrative device, and this person was essentially a blank slate to explore the fallout of Oleander's plans.
So I gave her a name in Weeding (Rose, to play into the flower motif Oleander had going on), one of my shared interests to play with (prog rock), and we ran with it. The entire comic from scripting to the final color slaps involved everyone in the collab, but the dialog between Oleander and Rose was specifically me. I needed to convey what happens when someone you thought you knew, someone you loved for years, turns face and causes irreversible ripples in your life.
The extinction may have started out as a "kindness" to eradicate human suffering, but in the end it was Oleander who met their end. Rest in the void, you sapphic space monster.

This was incredible! A super bittersweet ending, the character's interactions were great, the art was beautiful. It was such a good read, it is a perfect conclusion and ending for the whole Oleander story arc. The conflict between characters felt very organic and natural considering their different perspectives and experiences
Amazing work everyone
