Veruca considers herself a fairly normal teenage girl. A bit of a loner, but otherwise, at least as normal as a North Void High School student can be. She has lost her parents when she was young, so she is being raised by her older cousin Percy, a Volunteer Firefighter at the Void City Fire Department. Veruca's only real concerns this semester were whether she would go to prom or not, but all that changed when an impish little bird fellow named Connor came to her school to tell her something extraordinary-- that she is the legendary knight Sir Albert Rogers VI reborn, and that her ancient arch-nemesis, Lord Montigue will be resurrected and threatens to plunge the world into darkness. Will she rise up to the challenge and defeat this evil being once and for all?
