I forgot to comment on this!
Pizzaman, I loved your idea to give Oleander an employee. I think Dr. Salt was picking up vibes of 'dead end job' in Oleander's whole deal, too. Maybe Oleander was the real consumerist existential dread all along!
As much as I like that premise and the characterization, though, I like the silly nonsense of just seeing how Oleander would react when systemically shown the error of their ways. very The Good Place. the 3d outrun backgrounds coupled with cute minimalist character designs is really neat.
the way everyone talks in Salt's side sounds like they're all being translated into the same dialect from something else. I like how this is used to poke fun at how simple Oleander is, but she winds up being the straight man to the ridiculous circumstances she's in. It might have been cool to have her act all formal and lofty as usual as everyone around her acts fun and whacky, to push that further. make her more of the butt of the joke, perhaps.
I love Smitty. and I love 'absurdly powerful shonen jump and magical girls thrown into mundane beurocrazy' as a sub genre of void. contented sigh.
new headcanon that Outrun is hell and Vaporwave is heaven.

Pizza: This is a fun comic, I always appreciate any comic where an opponent realizes fucking off is a far bette solution than fighting a godlike being. Good stuff!
Salt: The visual style here is superb, the 3D assets and scenes blend seamlessly with the 2D drawings, and the shots were varied and so fun to look at, I especially love the shot of the elevator descending into hell. The color work was also a really strong suit. The writing was great as well, I got a big laugh out of heaven's masochistic secretary. Fantastic stuff all around, this to me is a benchmark 3D asset comic.

pizza: a fun comic! admittedly i am thrown off, even in the context of being a gag comic, by how easily ethanol dispatches oleander; having the character comment on it doesn't alleviate how arbitrary it feels. still, i very appreciate the tone mismatch between the two characters here.
dr. salt: yoooo i ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS. what a charming comic with excellent writing and some beautiful little renders! you do not know how much i'd love to see you stick with this style. my only critique is that the inconsistent speech bubble colors, especially on page 4, throw me off of who's actually speaking.

Wow both comics really took an unexpected path. It was such a pleasant surprise.
Pizza - the yellow and black color scheme is a nice deviation from just simply submitting a black and white inked page. It gives a colored comic vibe without actually coloring the comic. I think it works and very clever. Plus yellow is Oleander's color! I had a laugh when Ethanol tossed the apron at Oleander and hid, not wanting to put up a fight. A believable reaction really considering the circumstances lol.
Salt - WOW. The 3d assets, the story telling you did is very impressive and despite the stark contrast in style of the chars and backgrounds they work so well together. I love the humor and quirkiness of the characters included (even the NPCs have captivating personalities). I really hope to see more from you. Well done.

Pizza: Really dug the hard shadows and dark humor here. This and your 9to5 battle is making me really become a big fan of your writing.
Salt: This was one of the most visually creative comics I've seen in a minute and the writing was just as strong. Im going back through Ethanol's archive now after reading thisml.

My only gripe is that the skulls in the background on page 9 made things a bit busy, I think blurring them or lightening the colour would have been easier on the eyes!

Battle of the food-named artists!!
Pizza - I loved the vibe here, I agree with Flytee the black and orange was a really neat choice. Great humour as always, and it was interesting that you had Ethanol interact with Oleander directly after the events of her intro! I did have to read through it twice to fully understand what was going on though, as a lot of the panels weren’t very clear.
Salt - This looked so cool!! I loved the 3D backgrounds, especially heaven, which to me felt more like a miniature set than 3D. Very cute, and I’m glad you showed us the little details at the end since those added to the charm. Your style blended with it pretty well. The coloured word bubbles were a successful experiment imo. I also found the weirdly chill attitude everyone has to death, heaven and hell really funny. A+ comic. My only gripe is that the skulls in the background on page 9 made things a bit busy, I think blurring them or lightening the colour would have been easier on the eyes!

Pizza - I thought it was a fun comic, I liked how you portrayed Ethanol and I loved the “You’re a shitty boss” line.
Salt - I already raved to you about how cool this looks, but I’ll say it again. Damn, this looks good. I love how you drew Oleander too. Overall, just a great job.

Also is that a flower of evil reference on the final page?

Salt- The visuals here were rad, I loved the 3d elements and how seamlessly everything blended together. It was really successful experiment.
I love how offbeat the dialogue and jokes were, this was very entertaining. :>
Pizza- The choice to make everything orange + cast such dramatic shadows gave this thing such a neat atmosphere. I loved the line "fuck this shit I wanna live" It was a pretty amusing way to end the scene.

Aight I guess I'll be the first to say it that was amazing! I can only hope I can reach this level of creativity someday I don't know how you made those backgrounds as clean cut as they were but It's really something to behold! (I'm also glad we share the same stance on speech bubbles lmao) Thanks for the advice during our fight I truly learned a lot from this. It was an honor to have my butt thrashed by you XD

For Pizzaman specifically, you asked if we would be interested in reading a long-form comic with a 3D rendered space. I certainly would! I like the way Blender in used in Worthikids' work, and I think you can pull off the same kind of polish in yours.
