Hiemie: Real solid comic, Inks,shots, pacing, etc. were quite apt. Some color for blood/guts at least would really enhance the psychological impact of the comic. c'mon man he murdered a baby make it splat big! I think the pg.1 preface sets up the slaughter well enough, I  was just hoping for some more sick twisted shit for fabs death. I wish I was more disturbed by this comic I guess. I laughed at the comedy switch and suits head exploding at the notion of being in a nonsense comic. Def. plenty to enjoy here. but please fuck with our heads more when suit kills!!

I wasn't really sure what to make of this one, even before the gag ending. I don't know why. Maybe it was like Angie said, there was no build-up; all of a sudden Suit jumps in and kills everyone. Or maybe I was just expecting something like the previous Suit battles.
I liked your inks also as Angie said, but I think you might've brought some of those heavy darks around the borders into the panels themselves; worked some shadows into the characters or something. Not sure if heavy shadows were what you want, though.

Okay first things first, I was pissed at Rofl as were a lot of people. But I really don't think this is the place to vent it out, let's please give the person who turned in a comic the attention he should get and keep the Rofl bitching to a minimum.

Hiemie-I really feel like your heart wasn't in this comic, even before the last few pages. It really seems like you're just wanting to get rid of the character now, which if you really want to of course a death match is the way to do it. But try to go out with a bang, do what you can to do really amazing comics with him if/before he dies. You usually do such a great job building up his battles, there really wasn't much build up or reason here. You could have really pushed the killing baby thing to drive home how fucked up Suit is and really make the audience go holy shit by torturing Morty and the baby or something instead of bam they's dead.

Now even though the story didn't do much for me, you did great artistically. I want to see you just work in purely black and white for a while, you're really doing some great things with it. The page where Fabulous gets the acid bath was really amazing. Perhaps you should try bringing some blacks and hatching into your backgrounds so they don't feel so empty. Either that or add some more personal touches to them. Like the bathroom looked fine but the room they were in in the beginning was pretty empty.

Sorry about the odd ending, I just had to change my story when I found out Dr. Fabulous was dying.

Also, the comic is done, glad you guys liked the tub scene.

I probably shouldn't be stepping in on this, since I know tons of people are already fist clenching about the whole ordeal. I'm also going to be a hypocrite and spend a few lines regarding Rofl's work ethic, so any of the head crew decides to delete this, go for it.  I just want to throw in my two cents as quick as possible before it goes into the compost.
For some of you may already know, Roflqu lives closeby and I know him personally. We've talked about what he was going to do with this death match, and even if he gave us anything to show....well....let's just say you would've expected a grotesque looking dr fabulous with angel wings and a swinging tiny prick.
( Not kidding either. ) So although his hard drive burnt out, it would've been better for him to not show anything at all.   I already jumped down on him pretty fucking hard for his lack of showmanship during his ronin vs morty match. I've told him on many occasions to stop challenging multiple fighters and keep his promises with people he brushed off ages ago. He KNOWS this guys. He KNOWS he's at fault. If it's something to do with being trustworthy....I don't think that's all it is. It's more or less his love for the hype. He gets too involved with the glory aspect than the actual making it happen aspect. So I don't blame anyone for feeling hurt in this case.

Like with many MANY artists here, I too had some story based plans involving Dr Fabulous. But you know what?
I look back and realize it was just an open possibility. I'm not even that upset with Rofl about that, because I already said my peace about his ridiculous habits. If I and possibly anyone else wanted to have his character appear in anything, the beyond battle system can make it happen. Otherwise, the Doc isn't the only gay man in town that can make miracles for us.

Okay, setting that aside....( again, I'm sorry for wavering from commenting so much on the battle. )

Hiemie: For some reason I just wasn't really feeling it too much. I might be craving for more explanation, but
the baby and Dr Fab stuck in his bathroom just...kind of lost me. HOWEVER, I really enjoyed the inking in this. The best bits were the 'acid dunk' panels, it felt quite real and the stippling was nicely executed.

Roflqu probably doesn't deserve the rather shabby treatment he's getting right now, he's a nice guy, and I don't know anybody else who can make things even more fun around here, and I understand that sometimes you just don't want to do these sort of things. But lemme just say this: Eric cannot be trusted, and the fact that he made all these "Plans" with his fighters and promised to work with people like Fowlie only to turn his back on everybody and flip us the bird makes me want to smack the bastard upside the head! How many times have I been on the bad side of the community here because I didn't finish a comic? How many times did I get a verbal caning here for my attitude or lazyness? Quite a lot!! I can understand work, school, or even life in general getting in the way, but come on! Even I wanted to do something with him on void! But now... a lot of people are kinda feeling hurt about this whole thing, I know I am cause he's a good friend, not trustworthy, but a good friend. If this is how he leaves us, by all means Roflqu, don't let the door hit your ass on the way out!




Hiemie: I'll get to that one thing in the story that pisses me off in a bit... but this so far is one of the best inking jobs I've seen from ya dude! That water effect was wonderfully done, but I think you could of drawn some fumes around the bathtub to maybe show a bit more sense of what dangerous substance was in there cause it kinda confused me a bit. The story part of the story was OK, but with lack of a build up it just became a "character A meets character B" type of comic, also I didn't understand why you had suit kill a baby, where did that thing come from anyway? That whole thing to me just came up as tacky and unnecessary and used only to bring up the shock factor.

As for the part that pisses me off, and not just how you suddenly went into your random nonsensical comic mode again: "Hey guys! Thanks for discouraging my opponent into defaulting, and removing the competition/fun, I really appreciate it!"

The only person you have to blame is yourself! You knew Roflqu just wanted to throw away his fighter and you went along with it cause you wanted more death matches! Don't blame anybody else for not realizing your opponent is the second most unreliable person here since Johnny! Keep your bitterness out of the comics! High points for the quality, that's about it.

HIEMIE- I was actually digging where this story was going until I guess outside drama inspired the ending? I dunno. I've always been curious to know how Suit would treat or react to regular people-and I do agree the art on the fryer/acid bath was wonderfully done. I knew exactly what I was looking at and the effect was awesome.

Good comic otherwise Hiemie!  The scene where your character shoved Dr. Fabulous' head into the tub of acid was brutally intense, and very well rendered!

As dicky as a lot of people have been to Rofl, be it he deserved it or not, I don't really blame him for not caring after all that.

Hiemie, that dunking page... that effect was pure sex. Seriously, I loved that page so hard. Good job.
