very cute comic and interaction! however i absolutely need to impart the useless yet vital information that tunnels & trolls is not only a real tabletop game but in fact is super historically significant, was dnd's main competitor in its first couple years of release, and notably does not use a d20 but a d6 as one of many choices to simplify its rules.

WTF Fluff this is so fricken cute!!! I love the way you draw 88, I love your animated expressions, I love your comedic timing! Two things caught my eye as things to work on. First off, I like that you vary your line widths, but I feel like you're not using line width to communicate anything specific, and instead it just makes things look a bit scribbly. I'd like to see thicker lines around things that you want to give more visual hierarchy, and thinner lines around less important things like little background details. The second thing I'm noticing is just a lack of detail in places where I would expect more detail. Most notable is how their clothing looks kinda like vague blobs most of the time with a few little details—enough to understand what's going on, but not to make the clothing feel REAL—and how you don't draw the corn texture on Cornelious' face a lot of the time. I think adding in those little details (with a smaller line width as per my previous point) would level your art up a TON.

Bottom line, I always love your comics. They're cute, funny, and full of personality. You write and draw wonderful characters, and I can never get enough of them! Always looking forward to your next comic :D

that was a fun story, Fluff! makes my brain itch for more slice of life in void city. kind of imagine they think shows like Bleach are slice of life and shows like Seinfeld are high fantasy XD so 88 is just playing a historical fiction game.

Nibbles: I hope everything's okay!

Fluff: First off, the humor and the interactions in this were so good, and so compelling. I want these two to be friends. Travel companions. As a big ol DnD nerd myself (btw love the rebranding of Tunnels & Trolls, that got a good giggle out of me), it always brings me so much joy to see even fictional characters experiencing it for the first time. When Cornelious got all amped over the crit I legit cackled. That said! That particular sequence (in the middle of page 4) actually tripped me up at first, and it took a couple reads to figure out what order the panels were supposed to be read in. I though it was supposed to be the two panels on the left and *then* the three panels on the right--I think that's partially because the "Fuck yeah!" overlaps onto the other panel, which kind of links them together visually. I also do wish it had a better conclusion; as is, it feels less like a completed end, and more like it just got cut off. I could be wrong but it does kind of give off the vibe that maybe you had to cut some stuff for time?

Art-wise, the lines look really good, nice and smooth and fairly easily readable. I think the only thing that would've improved it is maybe a bit more of either spot blacks or some gray tones here and there?

Scar-wise, it kind of feels like the scar took a backseat to the story, or was an afterthought. At first I wasn't even sure what the scar *was* until I read it again and then guessed that the exploded kidneys was the scar. Not entirely sure how that'd be depicted, but on the other hand there are worse scars to get XD

It's all the painful corn talk.

I'm bummed that Nibbles didn't get any pages up, but I still had fun drawing 88 and her love of dungeons and dragons!
