Goddamn Goldie this was a treat to read. Even knowing tht Buddy was gonna have to die and that Spidella is a literal maneater, the twist still somehow took me by surprise. I think that's largely thanks to you doing such a good job of pulling me into the story that I was right there with Buddy thinking she just wanted to bring him somewhere warm and out of the rain. You did an excellent job of building up the suspense as Buddy slowly realized what a pickle he was in, too. The black and white was so fitting for the mood, too; v film noir-y!! and of course the pops of red were such a nice visual contrast.
Also, I really loved the little detail of her hair pins being little flies. It was somehow both cute and also sinister? which kind of sums up Spidella as a whole, lol. Really looking forward to seeing her in round 2!!

Wow Goldie! That was pretty impressive. Everything just seems to really be in service to the character. The little details really help you put yourself in the scene. Little things like the trail of your word balloons communicating how she talks, the Black and White aesthetic giving it a film noir vibe (which also goes well with Buddy's detective like story you created). And kudos on the song lyrics! That's usually something I'm not a fan of in comics, but it just fit really well in this and the lyrics flowed well where you can almost sing along.

You seem to also have the vertical scroll format down pat. Not leaving a lot of empty space which I see in most Webtoons and using the format to basically create one long piece of art. Something I definitely need to put more thought into in the future. Really great job overall!

I love Spidella! The entire comic is such a delightful read, and the integration of the song is perfect! What a clever death too! I loved your inks in this and all of the varying shots to evoke suspense and terror!

Wow, that was a fantastic introduction to Spidella!! I'm so in love with her personality! Even though she's a sadistic, cold-blooded serial killer, I really, REALLY love her. And those last two panels... that was such a clever way to end the story.
