D6016: you\'re inks were pretty good and I was looking at samuel and i just realized how cute you draw him XD I like how you draw his paws, dunno why. Too bad you couldn\'t finish this, i was really into it, and I personally think the intro was a nice touch to it. You got everyone\'s characteristics down really well. I hella hope you continue this later! =]

Kozi: I swear, you\'re hella crazy!! you\'re all like \"oh no it\'s not coming out as good as i hoped!\" but when it goes up, it\'s like...hella good!! XD Even though it was short, it didn\'t seem empty, or even like it stopped out of nowhere! this made me smile with only a few pages and it didn\'t seem rushed at all! I love your inks and slight color ( your pages never feel empty or \"naked\" either which make it feel....\"homey\"? i wouldn\'t know that word for it, but it\'s comfortable XD...and i know that sounds hella weird, but whever XD ) i\'m really falling in love with your style <3 Can\'t wait for what you come out with next! =]

its nice to know that the 3 pages i put forth are being somewhat well received, considering there was suppose to be another 3 pages.

once things have settled down here, I plan to redo this how i originally envisioned the whole thing.

D6016- I am very sorry to see you didn’t have time to finish your entry… I was really enjoying it and would have loved to see where you would have taken it. The second page it wasn’t immediately clear what was happening. Call me slow, but it took me a bit to figure out that he broke off one of his teeth to use as a tool to escape.


Kozispoon- Great entry… I really like your work. I was a little disappointed in not seeing more of the fight between Rat and Mimi, but after reading what you have been doing this last couple of weeks, I am very impressed with what you did get done.

Don\'t worry too much about this Dee, even unfinished this is more than what Felony gave ya, and real life tends to hurt comic time for the most part, believe me, I know. I would like to see you finish this up as a Beyond Battle, cause what you had looked really really good.


Kozispoon: Awesome all around, I do agree with Marley about pacing and setting up the scene however, it did look like you kinda skipped ahead a few scenes during this fight. But for the most part it read well and you had great art along with it, I\'m looking forward to the final round now.

Dee I can\'t be mad at ya- I used to have pet rats and the fact you were going back and forth to the vet and caring for them is too adorable and very awesome. It has me all nostalgic for my old pet rat. Awww <3 I hope your little guys are ok! They are too cute!

We both had some crazy circumstances and I by no means require or am looking for an apology. You didn\'t default and what you have really puts me to shame. XD It had me totally curious to see what happened next. So, you totally have my vote (Y\'know, if I COULD vote, heh).

Deee: Inspiring inking, definately. Too bad you couldn\'t finish the ones in the last page :X
As for the story, I think you could\'ve skipped the introduction part, since we are in round 2 and half of the people are out already, but since it\'s the story telling way you chose, it\'s not bad at all, and it was really funny. I wonder what\'s is this small rat up to!

Kozi: The lines :ooo I love your shapes, and they were master in those pages! I think you could have used more backgrounds though, because right now I wouldn\'t be able to replicate in a drawing what\'s the cockpit design if I wanted, except for the controls. In other hand, when you did them they were really detailed! The greyellow tones were really nice!
I liked the cat-and-rat plot, though I wish there was more of it, hehe

My vote here goes to kozi, because I liked the plot better, and the art was fully finished, i guess, but to whoever wins, I wish you gather up time and deliver an explosion!

Cute comic kozi! The only thing I would have added is a clearer shot of space rat falling out of Macario\'s hair. It looks like he just kind of happens to be on the ground because the panel before it is so understated. I would have also thrown in few more establishment panels of the inside of the ship just to make the reader feel more involved with the environment.  

Dee what you had looked nice, but unfortunately the vet =(  

I know how busy you both were and I\'d just like to say you both did a good job with what you had. Dee, you still made me laugh and I hope those rats get better soon.

Kozi, I know how you were busy with the move, but it was a good comic. Let\'s hope you deliver a knock-out blow if you move on.

I figured I\'d post this here.

My husband and I are moving to L.A and its looking like the upcoming week I had all mapped out to work on my battle is going to be dedicated to packing all my art supplies, saying goodbye to friends and family and getting set up in our new place (and hurrying like hell to unpack the \'art\' boxes to try and keep working on pages). I\'m really disappointed that the effort and time I had on the first round will more than likely not be given to the second round. I feel like a jerk for perpetuating the bad luck Dee seems to be having with his opponents in this UDT and for that I apologize.

I do not intend to default, but I can\'t say this\'ll be work I\'ll be content with.

Jesus...these matchups get weirder by the weeks.
Hope they also get better. Cuz in the first round you people showed me some serious skill as to what\'s possible in only 2 weeks.

This is gonna be a good one, cause these two artists drew my faVORITE ROUND ONE BATTLES!! Bring the  heat!!
