Black Dragon is leader of the Clan of the Dragon. The Clan of the Dragon serves as the third head of the organization known as ‘Hydra’. Black Dragon commands respect of all of his subordinates through fear and intimidation. He has become known for his unstable mood swings and violent temper, though no one would confront him on the matter as he is one of the strongest fighters within the organization. Dragon would stop at nothing and destroy anything that lies in his path towards power. In his quest for supremacy and total power, Dragon has often resorted to abduction, torture, and assassination as well as other such treachery. Dragon has also secured the allegiance of his own twin brother, Hiryo, through means of murder, abduction, and extortion. However, in his vanity will never allow his brother to show his face as Dragon feels that to have to share his looks would take away from his power. Hiryo is the stronger of the two, but with the murder of his family and his surviving daughter kept under lock and key, Dragon holds the reigns to insure that Hiryo will not betray him.

Black Dragon is a powerful practitioner of chi manipulation and has perfected his technique to the point of being able to travel with thought. In a sense Dragon can teleport himself over short distances in the blink of an eye, he can also teleport individual parts of himself at a time, or give the illusion of being in multiple places at once. When combined with Green Snake’s wind technique Dragon can teleport the two as well as any others in contact over greater distances.
