Fine fine I wont comment on anything related to music since I don't know anything about music in the first place.

Clearly not, since this is the movies/tv thread.

Evil Dead: The Musical sucked. There's a reason it got cancelled halfway through its off-Broadway run.

Repo CONTINUES to suck, but was GREAT seeing it in theaters for the laugh fucking riot that ensued. That movie was just "hey this can't get worse GOLLY IT JUST DID HEE HEE HA HO HO" Everyone in the theater bonded, we laughed, we talked, we had a great time.

Tommy was fucking CREATED by The Who. God fucking dammit Will.

Rocky Horror is, still, a terrible terrible terrible movie, but it's well worth seeing in theaters if you can find it. Think MST3K. the music's pretty good too.

EFF YOU, JACK, AND YOUR LACK OF ENTHUSIASM FOR MUSICALS.
Mm...yes.

La Vie de Bohème, Frankenstein, Bride of Frankenstein, Dr. Jekyll & Mr. Hyde. Jekyll & Hyde was actually very good, altough it was nothing compared to the TV series "Jekyll".

Drag Me To Hell was hilarious.

I just finished watching the Witchblade anime.  It's... certainly interesting, though I kinda wish there was more fighting.  still, my favorite characters were the little girl and the male assistant.  Watch the first episode if you're on the fence.  That'll definitely push you one way or another if you're thinking about giving it a look.

Also been watching Burn Notice

I got interested when I heard Bruce Campbell was a regular, then the very next day a friend told me I should be watching it.  So I started, and haven't stopped yet.  3/4s of the way through season 1 now.  It's good stuff.  Spies, minus the international travel while working on the cheap and getting revenge.

Some quirky-funny stuff I've been watching recently.

I like David Boreanz's character, but it's the girl that takes the spotlight for humor. There's something really entertaining about watching people with limited social skills for some reason.

It's campy and corny, but always self-aware humor. I wish it had lasted longer, I only caught a couple episodes as it is.

In terms of anime, I just went through all of Gurren-Lagann over the last couple days, way behind the curve on this one, can see what everyone got excited about. I've also been watching FMA: Brotherhood and Hajime no Ippo: New Challenger, the former still going and the latter on hold. For another thing to catch up on, I've just started watching Afro Samurai, will probably be done with it by tonight.
