Weekly Art Challenge #4 Dynamic Poses 2/6/12-2/13/12

Tired of hearing that your work looks flat? A lot of us have a hard time doing dynamic poses and utilizing perspective to add depth to our work. So this week we're going to work on that dammit! Draw a picture that uses foreshortening and dynamic poses! It's okay if it's not accurate or your perspective is off, the first step to getting better at it is actually drawing it. The examples below are only awesome because the artists got lots of practice doing this! For some examples of what I mean

Our first example is from King of Dynamic poses, Chamba!

As usual it's okay to use your characters! Remember that it's okay to exaggerated poses to get something more lively and interesting.

Need more practice... but was fun :). Can we submit to the older challenges, or should we just wait for similar ones to come along?

Nice! And yes, you're more than welcome to do the old challenges, I kept the threads open just in case anyone wanted to do them still.

No worries! People can do these at any time, I just do dates so I know when to do the next one. It came out good!

So many bad mistakes on this.
I realized halfway through drawing it that I had clearly bitten of more than I could possibly chew.

it looks pretty good, but yeah i see some wonkiness in the legs of sir gorilla.

well, the best thing about drawing is that mistakes can only mean more drawing!
