Just as before this will work as follows; an original character design will be presented. Character Designs will consist of either a turnaround image or front and rear view images (at least one must be in colour) and a short biography.

Artist Entries will consist of a pin-up or splash page containing the monthly character design. Entries will(hopefully) be submitted to me by e-mail before the deadline. DON"T POST THE ENTRIES HERE.....E-MAIL THEM
.....MAKE SURE TO INCLUDE YOUR FORUM NAME IN THE E-MAIL
Images should be within 800 pixels x 800 pixels or thereabouts for proper viewing on the forums.

AS WITH ALL ART JAMS THIS IS OPEN TO ALL FORUM MEMBERS

These entries will be posted in the thread by me after the Deadline and forum viewers will be able to vote by poll on their favorite along with any comments.

The winner each month will then be asked to submit their own original design for the following month.

VOTING WILL BEGIN ON July 22 and the Winner will be announced on July 29

The Winner will then have until August 5 to Submit their new original character design.

Galaxy Cow
A protector of space. He has been stationed inside a solar system somewhere around the middle of the universe. He is ready to leap into action at a moment's notice. Too bad nothing ever happens out here.

ARTIST SUBMISSIONS

The entries are in and voting will continue until June 30thto decide the winner. The winner will then provide their own original character design for next month.

love for squidman has been received but some of the entries are anonymous so I will wait until this afternoon to post....and hopefully squidman's secret valentines will have identified themselves by then......you gotta give your forum names in the e-mail folks....I don't know who you are if'n you don't

holy shit, B, seriously intense magic right there! i just love the energy of the thing, definitely the right touch for the character. if i had to pick apart anything, it's that it doesn't seem as polished as it could be, whether this was because of time or stylistic choices. either way, it's fuckin great.

Oh my, I love all the entries! Thank you very much, mysterious mystery artists!

Artist C: Great pose! It suits him. It is also nice that the background is the galaxy he is supposed to be protecting. ..er, that is the milky way, I think? :o A very nice drawing, thank you!

Artist B: Great movement and lighting :o! There are lots of things to like about the picture, like the small cogwheel casting a shadow on galaxy cow's arm, and the other mechanical parts flying by... I am curious as to just what he is shooting at. A fun take on my character, thank you!

Artist A: This one is my favorite! It is perfect in every way. My one complaint is that it is not an actual LucasFilm game that I could play. And also that there is nothing in his inventory. What! But srysly, the style is perfectly suited. And I love the command center with the panels showing galaxies and different planets and stuff. That is my other complaint: I am jealous that I didn't come up with this myself. >:0

Haha, oh man A, that's inspired right there. Creative! But I'm with squid, where are all the wacky inventory items?

B - great strong pose, nice detail. Color could've used a bit of smoothing, perhaps.

C - Nice, slightly different take. The pose is begging for some sort of grounding, however.

These are cool! Fun design, squidman!
