Fun mashups of the Beastie Boys and the Beatles. You can find some of it on torrents, I guess he stopped distributing it on his website.

I've been in a more soothing music mood lately

The Bird and the Bee

Goldfrapp (Hiemie got me into listening to her)

New Buffalo

Natalie Walker

Pizzicato Five

Yes, I realize they're all female vocalists. It's soothing.

It's groovy, I don't hear a lot of guys who can actually sing these days.  It all seems to be rap.  :P

ooo Kuro good music. I STILL NEED TO RECOLLECT ALL MY IGGY/STOOGES EARLY STUFF DAMNIT!! Need. And alas it is too bad that Death From Above broke up... I... I really liked them haha even if they did get repetative, it was a nice repetative har har har.

Feist

Damn her sulty, sultry voice, I think its maddeningly designed to appeal hardcore to girls, that not even I myself can resist what an awesome album The Reminder is this time around. I've seen her live before but I didn't care at the time, but now goddamn! Also Calgary-grown pride har har har!

Grizzly Bear

As from a recommendation from Michelle/ufotrash, my GOD. Yellow House is a BEAUTIFUL ALBUM, its so eerie and melodic and such... cool lounge/chill music. I love their blend of instruments mmm 8|

Three Inches of Blood

Gotta break up the sissy 8|!!! Plus I gotta say they'll forever be with me in the form of a scar from one of their shows haha!

Beastie Boys

... I just love my Beastie Boys forever and ever.
...beats me, man. Beats me why most dudes suck, sure as hell ain't my scene.

CSS or Cansei de Ser Sexy. Brazilian dance indie that doesn't take itself too seriously. Has a token dude instead of a token chick.

today, i played the RAC Remix of 'Let's Make Love & Listen to Death From Above' by Cansei De Ser Sexy on repeat, though i forget where i got it from. I'd recommend looking it up though.

and i still keep listening to it pretty often. find it!
also, anyone else find it subversively perverted that they're using music is my hot, hot sex for the ipod touch commercials?
