Because it seems it's SO MAINSTREAM to show your art, I'll do so too and won't play the part of a hipster:

WIP- I'll be finishing this the moment I can. It takes priority over other things :P

Expression test I did on a comic I now put on hiatus until I have worked out some bugs and issues in the story.

Because Chell needs love.

A commission I did few years back.

Painting of the character I pimped up [2010]

FYI: I do also draw males.. sometimes. :P

There should be more comments on this :)
For me, I think you've proved that you're good at drawing the ladies! Do other stuff!
Weak point you're showing so far is rendering - Your soft colored painting stuff is great, but you can take it to the next level by keeping in mind that what makes the soft bits really pop is hard edges within the drawing.
Also the solid blacks - don't forget that eyes interact with shadows as well.

emphasize and push the line of action, it will really add more life to your pose. if ever your shoulders and hips are aligned to each other, you will lose the energy of your drawing.

also, i would suggest using photo reference for those hands and foreshortening.

Thanks Pi - I'll adjust for the next one :)

I did in fact use photo reference for the foreshortened hand, but I'll try to utilize them better.

Screentones look nice :0

I wish there was a little more detail in her hair, rather than just on the ends. Of course, you don't have to draw every strand, but she would have a part in her hair at least, you know? Be careful with screen tones because sometime they can flatten things out.  Make sure your line work is strong before you add them!!

Melissa Silian got into an accident while riding on her scooter – she crashed into a car that drove past the red light and her left leg got stuck behind the back tire and in-between the chain. The cycle still worked and it cut her foot clean off. The person who she crashed at paid and constructed her a new fully-functioning (albeit metal) foot, which Melissa designed. She now helps out at his laboratory, designing and crafting all kinds of machinery, but mostly exoskeletons and other implants. Her story mainly focuses on her work and a love triangle between him, her and a third wheel who is a necessary plot device.

She likes to wear different kinds of stockings on her right leg to ‘balance out’ her left leg. Melissa is also very much into music and almost never takes off her headphones – seen often asleep with them still on.

I did a little fun thing for a warm-up - various VOID characters eyes (and a little bit around it) while trying to imitate their style. There are two characters from one artist tho.
