2011, aged 14.

2012, aged 15.

I don't do much digital painting, but I guess there's a little improvement there. Maybe it's just different painting styles.

Huh. I think I like the piece done back when you were 14 better. D:

I kinda agree with this assessment as well.  The piece that is a year older has what looks like more detail (though maybe it's because of the resolution?  Digitally painted pieces tend to look tighter when they're smaller) and seems to have more detail like the moss on the rock.

I think it's because the animals have more dimension in the earlier one. Perhaps it is because they are in such stark contrast with the background in the later one.

Nex has gained several body parts over the years! I'm loving his new design, Del! Also, it's awesome to see old fighters still around. I'm pretty sure Nex is still on my hitlist ;)

I found what I believe to one of my earliest serious drawings from high school.

2005, age 13/14:

2012, age 20/21:

both referenced from the same screenshot in a music video. Surprisingly, they both took about the same amount of time I believe. Which is weird considering how few lines there are in the first example! I think I just erased so many times to try to get it "perfect" fghfgdfsfg

I guess I'll put this thing here. I can't be bothered uploading separate images, so here's the meme thing:

The image on the left is one of, if not my very first attempt at digital art, done in MS Paint with a mouse. I put 2006 on there because I wasn't sure, but I think I may have actually been closer to 11 or 12 years old...idk
The other is done in Photoshop with a tablet. I didn't use any references so the anatomy is probably botched. :I

I love how the cloud of breath turned into a cloud of cigarette smoke over the years. Also, way to go on backgrounds, Hats! It adds so much to the piece!

So it's not exactly the same character, since the older one was supposed to be Matt Smith, and the newer one is an OC called Sasha. But they have similar hair, and you can definately see the difference in the coloring.
I recall being very proud of that painting at the time, and I look at it now and sort of cringe.

Nov 2008

2014

Oh gosh, look at that 5 year difference. The older picture was from they had a webcomic on SmackJeeves. They were Autumn and Zachary and now are Ashling and Thomas. My favorite thing about Thomas is that his skin tone (when I traditionally color them) in Prisma Markers is called "Cinnamon Toast"
