At the time of this Journal being posted, we are in the last week of our Cataclysm Tournament and it blew Staff away from all the contestants and the entries that came from this event. We cannot thank the community enough for showing up in these events and making some wonderful and entertaining stories. To top off this Newsletter, instead of the staff pick; Our own PlatinumArtist was able to conduct a quick interview from our winners of the Heart of Heroes Tourney and will be shared with everyone in the community.
Also I would like to thank everyone who took part of our survey, it helps staff come up with events and even push events the community wants to our attention. I can say that we had a total of 24 responses to that survey and we thank you for taking part.

Top 3 Comics
So, the top 3 comics have all acquired the top spots in all 3 categories so We will just put the top overall comics instead.
1 - Confession by Linclair and Badger
This collaborative story between these two talented artists helps moves Talon’s story forward while using Cadenza as a solid supporting character. There are some cunning back and forth with wonderful colors, definitely recommend giving this a look over especially if you want to ry to incorporate more dramatic vibes with your colors and facial expressions.
2 - Reharmonization by Linclair
This is a fantastical Beyond Battle that places Candeza in the Voidlands setting and we see her meet with Maestero Johann as they get to know each other. This has great panel structure and really good backgrounds. Definitely work a read if you haven’t yet
3-I Messed Around The New Hot Springs Resort And Found Out What Was So Hot About It!
This is a large collaborative effort that was headed by Footini and we have all kinds of hijinks and zany ordeals that collide to make for some excellent humor. Great job on leading the project and These large projects really need some attention and care when they come out. If you haven’t read this one, I suggest to give it a read through, you might like something.

Interview Segment
Question 1
How did you come across your partner for the Heart of Heroes Tourney?
Footini: Doe DM'd me an image at 3 AM in the morning and asked If we could team up. I said yes and went back to sleep and the full weight of my actions didn't hit me until I woke up the next morning at around 2pm.
We had also worked together on a few other things so they seemed chill.
Doe: Footini and I collaborated on two different comics before Heart of Heroes; so I basically just messaged him privately and asked if he wanted to collaborate again, but for the Heart of Heroes tournament. We brainstormed for a while before we eventually settled on Moth and Satraxia; The meat suit was Footini's idea, and I thought it would fit perfectly with Moth's body horror themes.
Question 2
What would you say is your partner’s greatest strength?
Footini: The ability to lift 10,000 lbs above their head and to create characters that have a certain humanity about them that grounds them and makes even the most surreal stories feel real.
Also being able to work hard and get things done.
Doe: Footini is very quick at inking and thumbnailing; Which allowed us to get pages done faster, and it gave me plenty of time to color them in a more detailed way. He is also very easy to communicate with, which made working together all the more fun :).
Question 3
Did you and your partner have a full plan for the Tourney or was it more of a ‘on the spot’ kind of thing?
Footini: Our plan was to have our characters bully everyone else and be as gay and toxic as we could manage in the deadline.
Doe: We had an idea but not a full on plan. We went into it thinking that our characters were going to be antagonistic figures for the heroes of the tournament, while also developing a toxic romance along the way. I think we achieved that pretty well.

What was your favorite panel/story from the Heart of Heroes Tourney?
Footini: This one

Doe: Our first round, overall, was my favorite. The ideas for how to establish Moth and Satraxia's motivations, and how to connect their story with that of the other two duos just came to me naturally. And of course, Mothtraxia's transformation was a big highlight for me.
Question 5
Can we expect more interactions between your characters in the near future?
Footini: Doe and I plan to make our toxic yuri ship everyone else's problem for a long time. in like a BB or two.
Doe: Yes! We are planning to do a BB together when we're not busy. Which is probably going to take a while. Not yet, but soon.
