July is now here which means our Getaway event is coming to a close. If you haven’t had a chance to read and vote on those comics, I strongly suggest that you do as these comics are a super fun read!
With that being said, there is something rumbling. A seismic shift one could possibly say. It would seem that we have a Cataclysm event fast approaching. Now if you are interested the sign ups will commence on the 12th of July. More details of this tournament will make themselves known when the sign ups open up so keep an eye out.
And finally we can get into the top comics for June!

Top Five Comics in June
For this newsletter we will highlight the top 5 overall scoring comics for June with a staff pick
The Edge of Danger by Badger and Buggypumpkin
A simple chat between two professionals as they do their work on the deceased, OR IS IT?!?! This comic has great character work along with being a gorgeous comic to look at. Definitely get this one a re-read if you get the chance
a hyacinth's dream by Fuu
It seems like a nice picnic, then the mindfreak stuff happens and honestly I’m not sure what’s going on (in a good way) but it definitely takes me for a rollercoaster ride. Nice backgrounds and use of colors, I definitely give this a recommendation to reread if you have the chance in order to see how to use colors effectively to set moods and stuff.
Héroes Inmortales by Cab
This battle is between Cab and Gregly who are quite the writers which makes for a fun battle. This first of two battles that Cab has fought this month shows a fun tag team between his lucha gal La Estrelita and Gwen. Great backgrounds along with some jokes planted here and there, it is a fun romp that I would definitely give a recommendation to reread for a fun silly time.
Run by Tinn
What a simple yet powerful title. So this one is an excellent action comic that uses colors with purpose and the action and flow of the comic is just a chef’s kiss. The violence is over the top and also has some mature subjects in it so readers be warned. This is a crazy fun read if you have the chance to take a peak at it, which I give a recommendation to read this entry. Great Work Tinn!
La Estrellita Demonica vs Gwen & Regi by Gregly
It is the other side to the Battle between Gregly and Cab. The Lineart is crisp, clean, and stylized in a way that makes the panels easy to read and the action go along smoothly. It is a well written fight between the antagonist and the two Heroines (which are Gewn and La Estrellita) which ends in a bit of a sad note. Still, it is great character work on Gregly’s end and I definitely recommend giving this one a read when you got the chance.
Staff Pick
Tender Intro Story by Boogidzo
It is always fun to read the whimsical yet frantic artwork from Boogidzo. You get a page load of muscle mass and positive vibes in this short character display as this shows what kind of character Tender is. It is super fun and I give it a recommendation if you want to see more of what this character is about
