I got like a week when someone invited me to this, I wanted to see if I could make the Character design and the intro before that, I hope that's okay, cause I still wanna sign up for this.

Name: Koop
Age: 26
Height: 5'1"
Weight: 95 lbs
Species: Tanuki
Ability: Spirit Companion
Fighting Style: Box

Spirit Name: El Cuervo JR. (Real name unknown)
Age: 53 since dead
Height: 5'4"
Weight: N/A
Species: Human Spirit
Ability: Body Possession
Fighting Style: Lucha Libre.

Backstory:

Before Koop was a underground fighter, Koop took various jobs in his young life to survive. carpenter, waiter, janitor, tarot fortune reader, and several others. The most remarkable jobs that made Koop to be where he is right now was Boxer, Spirit Medium and Retriever Mercenary (a title that involves locate, take and even steal items commissioned by the customer). Koop was competent at these jobs, but nothing above average, it wasn't until he was hired to steal a title belt locked in a museum that belongs to the legendary Luchador "El Cuervo JR." he didn't complete this mission, the very spirit of El Cuervo JR. appeared before Koop possessing his body and defend him from the guards of the museum. Thanks to Koop's job as a Spirit Medium El Cuervo JR. could see Koop's life and potential, taking a liking of him, offering his help to Koop in exchange of letting him use Koop's body to perfect his wrestling techniques that he couldn't master due to his untimely demise.

Koop and El Cuervo JR. have a fighting style similar to Wrestling Tag team, sharing one body, taking turns to control it so both can make use of their skills in battle and complement eachother's techniques, Koop is fast on the ground and uses boxing as his fighting style, using his powerful punches to attack their opponent and El Cuervo JR. is acrobatic and nimble in the air, using Wrestling as his fighting style, he uses his body as a way to grapple, throw and Lock their opponents with Submission Holds. Koop and El Cuervo JR's weakness is the lack of defence, they rely more on dodging attacks, his body cannot take a lot of punishment, so a few well placed strikes can bring this team down. Their abilities are use in battle by constantly switching styles, Koop and El Cuervo JR. are well synchronized, to combine their own attacks in the middle of a exchange.

Personality:

Koop doesn't really have a sense of honor, just survival, he will do anything to win, even if what he does is considered by others "cheating" or "cowardly" Koop is an opportunist, a quality that El Cuervo JR. share with him, but unlike Koop, El Cuervo JR. has a scene of honor, and even though he tries to advice Koop to being a bit more honorable he doesn't try so much in convincing him, since he consider Koop manipulating his life like that is too much to add on top of the petition of him helping him perfect his fighting style.

Koop will try to do his best to finish the current task that he's supposed to do, he takes it very seriously and have a responsibility to get it done, this can be really stressful for the little Tanuki, that's why he takes everything as a game and always smiling, having a vibe of carefree lifestyle, to make tasks and missions, according to Koop this makes their objectives easier to accomplish and less stressful to do.

I've been waiting way too long to submit this guy! Better late than never though, eh?

Vincent Vasquez: The Neon Demon!

BACKSTORY:

Vincent's first appearance was in in 1989 in the pages of "Journey into Adventure"'s #534th issue. In his debut, Vincent is a biker from the year 2121, a half terrorist, half freedom fighting individual that has been nicknamed "The Neon Demon" because of his speed and brutality against the mega corporations that have taken complete control of the world.

As Vincent's comic adventures continued, sales began to drop, which lead to the publisher trying to inject life into The Neon Demon's storylines any way they could, which included killing off Vincent Android girlfriend, H.A.L.L.E, and then later Vincent himself, although both characters would be brought back in one way or another, with H.A.L.L.E serving as Vincent's A.I.

Currently Dr. Antula, one of Vincent's rogues, has summoned a baby version of Vincent from the past to kill, effectively eating Vincent from existence. However, Antula's plan went wrong, and instead of killing baby Vincent, both adult Vincent and his past self have been sent back to modern day Void City. Can Vincent get home? Should he be trusted with a child, even if it's himself? Let's find out!

PERSONALITY:

Vincent is, put simply, quite hard to like. He is irritable, rude, ignorant, and foul mouthed. However, he is not stupid, as he as years of convoluted comic book plotlines that have allowed him to hone his skills as a fighter. He is sensitive about his height, 5ft 7inches, and will burst into a fit of rage if teased for it. Although it may be obvious, Vincent does not play well with others unless absolutely necessary.

H.A.L.L.E., on the other hand, is calm, with a warm demeanor. Her voice is slightly monotone, only showing emotion in rare situations. Although mostly reliable, she does enjoy teasing/pranking Vincent in low stake situations, such as asking him to say "I love you" before she will complete an order. H.A.L.L.E. can calculate things such as bullet trajectory, giving Vincent a sort of auto-aim if needs be, as well as generating maps, holograms, and playing music.

Despite his unwillingness to admit it, Vincent loves H.A.L.L.E. very much.

PIZZA MAN! WE DELIVEEEER!

After being decapitated by his so called mate, Burmeister's severed head was turned vampiric by a generous patron. After which his head was inserted onto a donor human body. He has since lost contact with his mysterious benefactor and has little memory of his past but he's more concerned about finding meaning in his new, undead life. He likes finding new interesting things to deter him from the notion that his life is meaningless and hollow. Very prone to getting involved in others' business and having emotional manic outbursts during battle, sometimes resulting in his eyes turning fully black from stress. Outside of combat he's surprisingly socialable and approachable.

He speaks to others using telepathy however he is unable to speak to robots and other non organic beings. He is decently strong, being able to break his sword on people by accident (this happens often) but he relies more on his speed in combat. While his sword proves to be an amusing distraction at best, he will resort to fighting with his fists instead. Other abilities include walking on walls and the mind control of insects. Like most vampires he is weak to sunlight though he won't die if exposed to it. He still has a hard time getting used to his human body often forgetting he no longer has six limbs or is able to fly.

I hope I'm doing this right rip

Stein is a veteran bounty hunter who carries a curse that some would consider a blessing.

The curse is twofold. Even though all of his flesh has fallen off after his death, a self-regenerating mass of muscle remains attached to his arms. These beefy guns come in handy as they bolster impressive strength and supernatural resilience by always being able to regenerate after taking a beating. However, this type of regeneration lacks the speed factor, being more of a slowly but surely type. Still, it's much faster than that of a mortal being.
The second part of his curse come in the form of actual guns. These magical firearms are materialized by Stein's will alone, and turn to ash if removed from his hands. Additionally, rather than using ammunition, the guns feed on Stein's anger in order to fire rounds that are physical in nature but magical in essence. This has its own setbacks though. A lack of anger in his attacks and the guns will jam. Alternatively, losing control of his anger would result in explosive misfires.

To top it all off, he has the reflexes of any respectable gunslinger, allowing him to keep track of even the slipperiest of targets. Unfortunately, while he's able to see them, he might lack the speed to keep up with them. This is especially true when it comes to dodging attacks, preferring to just use his arms as a shield if possible.

Now, with his main method of attacking revolving around being in a bad mood, one would figure he’s "always angry". But contrary to his overall appearance, he's a rather calm fellow most of the times. Save for a few pet peeves that might land you on his bad side, he'll always be more than happy to share a few tales and drinks with random strangers. After all, it's those little joys that keep him from becoming truly bitter.

+Likes:
-Drinking.
-Smoking.
-Telling stories of things he's heard or done.
-Watching fights unfold.
-Dark Country music.
-Collecting that sweet bounty money.

+Hates:
-Anyone grabbing his hat.
-Duster coat repair costs.
-Seeing someone misuse their firearm.
-Being interrupted.
-Sketchy merchants.
-When a contract fails to disclose vital information about his target.

With all that in mind, hopefully everyone will have a good idea of how to approach him. Whatever their intentions might be.

+Extra Details:
-He was a bounty hunter before his death and remembers this.
-He's a proficient grappler in hand-to-hand combat.
-His hate for sketchy merchants is tied to the reason he became cursed in the first place.
-The curse is both the reason he was killed, and also the thing that made him undead.
-Drinking or smoking doesn't really do anything to him since he has no lungs and anything he drinks dissolves after entering his mouth. He enjoys the actions nonetheless. Bad habits die hard after all.

Red wrote this list of how-to's and rules last Invitational and I'm just gonna copy/paste it coz its still accurate

Since a lot of you will be posting your very first battle soon, I wanted to go over the important things about uploading and making comics here to make everyone's lives easier.

1. MAKE SURE YOU DO NOT POST YOUR COMIC AS A 'BEYOND BATTLE'.
When you go to upload your comic, make sure you select the BATTLE you are in, and DO NOT create a beyond battle. BB's are solo comics with no opponent.
GUIDE TO UPLOADING: http://entervoid.com/index.php?topic=13081.0

2. MAKE SURE YOUR IMAGES ARE AROUND 800-1000 PX WIDE.
The number 1 cause of upload failure is HUGE IMAGES. PLEASE look at the size of your images before uploading.
IMAGES DO NOT AUTO RESIZE.

3. YOU MUST EMAIL STAFF @ ENTERVOID.COM TO LET US KNOW YOU ARE HAVING ISSUES.
If you do not directly tell a staff member that you are having difficulties, we will assume everything is working properly. PLEASE email your pages to us if the uploader isn't working. Also, NAME the pages in a logical order ex: page01.jpg, page02.jpg etc.

4. WE HAVE TWO RULES FOR POSTING COMICS.
RULE 1: YOUR ENTRY MUST BE A COMIC
Your entry must have sequential images that tell a story.
If you entry is ONLY one of these things, you are disqualified:
A TEXT PAGE WITH AN EXCUSE AS TO WHY YOU DIDN'T DRAW A COMIC
A SPLASH PAGE OR PIN-UP
A COVER
If you don't have a COMIC to turn in, please do not bother uploading anything because we will removed your disqualified entry.

RULE 2: YOU MUST DRAW YOUR OPPONENT AND YOUR CHARACTER AT LEAST 1 TIME EACH IN THE COMIC.
Let's say you draw 3 nice pages, but you run out of time and didn't get to page 4 and 5! And your opponent was going to appear on those pages! Well, if you don't put them in your comic at all then you are disqualified. YOU MUST DRAW YOUR CHARACTER and you MUST DRAW YOUR OPPONENT.

5. UPLOAD ON TIME.
There is a countdown timer that tells you exactly how much time you have to upload your comic. Make sure you upload before the deadline, or if you're having trouble, email us before the deadline.

PLEASE READ THE GUIDE TO UPLOADING CORRECTLY:
http://entervoid.com/index.php?topic=13081.0

6. PLEASE DO NOT POST YOUR ENTRY IN OTHER PLACES WHILE VOTING IS GOING ON.
This is more of a courtesy thing that we please ask that you follow. Wait until the voting has been completed to post it on tumblr, deviantart, etc.
Linking to your comic on VOID is OK, but begging for votes is poor sportsmanship!!!!

7. NO CHEATING.
Don't be a jerk. Don't ask a friend to give you all 10's and your opponent all 1's. We examine every vote and if you are caught cheating we will ban you. Let the community fairly judge each comic without interference.

If everyone follows this then we will have a smooth round 1 with no delays in posting. We will post all of the comics at the same time. The rules are pretty simple, just make sure you communicate with the mods about any difficulty you're having!! GOOD LUCK!

(hopefully this is how you attach pictures here...?)
~~~~
Hajire and Beam are a duo from another world- though their world is structurally sound, Hajire's motherly instinct-or 'mom friend mode'- made her take in and look after the homeless bee kobold. Bee-ing a male, they are often kicked out of hives and risk starvation, but Beam discovered he had a knack for the druid-like magic of the world. He can create both energy "balls" and various affects from his clover staff, which Hajire can then catch and deflect in a martial art akin to "Jai Alai" or "Lacrosse" sport in our world. Her moose antler is specially treated to be a multi-usage tool, which she skillfully uses to deflect, pierce and bludgeon the wilder animals of their world.
HAJIRE:
Looks: Has a golden lock, similar to a sunbeam through a dark cloud. Multiple scars on arms, and one on her right eyebrow. She has black freckles on various places. Ridiculously strong and acrobatic, but she still has some chubbiness to her. Her little side bag is full of first aid supplies and jerky, plus her cash.
Personality: Not angered easily at all, and is more likely to appear frustrated only when a friend isn't taking care of themselves and they know it. Very much the boisterous-mom friend. Likely to 'adopt' you. Will happily spar to compare abilities and strengthen each other. She also enjoys board and other games, though is only just above average in them.
Items: Moose antler, which has a loop attached to the end. Fingerless, spiked gloves(seen on her hip). Mystical chest plate with mesh/sheer crop top attached. In bag: First Aid bandage roll, ointments(for burns, bug bites, lotion), small medical scissors, ziploc bag of mystery jerky, and a bag with cash... or marbles.... in it.
Species/Race: Hajire has the similar appearances to an African-American of our world, but in their world humans have a noticeable difference in there being less gender dimorphism than ours. AKA, she has pecs and has the muscles that are the ny-impossible goal of at least one lady right here.
BEAM:
(beamin' bee man)
Looks: Three small eyes sitting on top of his head like our bees, but he has much more flexible antennae. He has a little, hard noseplate. His lower mandibles are usually in the shape of lower lips, and only when his mouth is wide open do they split, making him laughing... kinda creepy. But heartwarming. He has a stinger. His clover staff is taped to a stick, so that it doesn't flop over. More likely to look worried and afraid of VOIDCity than anything else.
Personality: Nervous yet endearing wreck, he's still getting used to people NOT kicking him out of their home/general vicinity. (Male bees in our world, and theirs, get kicked out of the hive if they don't find a mate and usually die afterwards) He is very determined in protecting and working together with Hajire, but isn't likely to pick up on most social queues- he has the potential to be very intelligent, if someone were to teach him from the basics up. At least he's adept at magic and has a lot of MP & stamina.
Items: Stick and Clover staff, hidden food reserves in the flower petals. Probably has honey in him, which may heal you.
Species/Race: As explained above, male Bee Kobolds are kinda seen as useless and 'freeloaders' to a colony, since their only purpose is to go mate with a queen and then likely die. He has a stinger, though it won't kill him or his attacker, it would still need some moderate healing time after useage. His clover is normal sized, from their world, as all the flora is ridiculously big. Like mega big. Look up a clover in our world for reference haha!
~~~~~
Man, talk about last minute, but I'm glad I've made it in time! This looks super fun! :D Gonna go hurry and see if the files size is too big, so an update later!
A.Mc.
I may sound like an old lady robot, who's high on caffeine and dragons

Name: Irene Vilanova
Age: 26
Height: 5' 6"

Irene is for the most part a slippery personality to keep a thumb on. Largely a bubbly person who typically makes light of any situation, she is able to adapt and run with whatever situation she finds herself in. However, while she can adjust to her surroundings, her real strength lies in her way of making her surroundings adjust to her. In other words, she can bend other's perception of her and offer a different reality to those who gaze upon her. Combined with her training with arcanic weaponry and a decade's worth of experience as a soldier, she is a capable opponent to anyone who chooses to target her... or ends up chosen as one. While her ability to warp perception and see beyond what a normal human can is formidable, she is cautious in how she uses it as unrestrained use can temporarily blind her, not to mention the side-effects leading up to it. Her rose-colored glasses help limit this ability and keep her vision focused in seeing the reality the average person perceives.

Sorry for the last minute entry haha.

"Faceless" Furio

Formally known as "furious" Furio hailing from a local criminal toon outfit as a hitman with aggressive tendencies that end in violence. It all changed during a turf war with another rival family, The Rotini's. Comprised of raccoon toon mobsters had attacked one of Furio's outfits business fronts over an enhanced version of dip in which the formula can kill a toon in twice the time. During the battle, Furio became severely mutated by an early experimental version of said chemical leaving him permanently colorless and faceless. He can reapply color and draw a new face but it melts away over time causing a bit of a mess. Furio became even more furious. He lost his job when the Rotini's won the war. He lost all of the money he made. He lost his place in the world as the city's finest hitman. And lastly, he lost his face to add further humiliation. Beaten by a bunch of raccoons. Fearing for his own life from the thought of them finishing the job, Furio had left the city on the run.

Furio's personality tends to be hot-headed as well as unpredictably psychotic when said or done of the slightest innocent things. The amount of money made him greedy and entitled. His current condition only made it worse as it demanded to be treated with re-applying ink for a new face and color for hits. Being on the run had caused suspicion to the point of anti-social behavior to dislike anyone unlucky enough to cross paths with him. Unless you're a pretty enough women that would spare you from an mean-spirited insult or worse a bullet in your head.

His skills include being a experienced hitman for the mob and is able to endure a lot of damage as a toon.

If there is one of the few upsides to his mutated condition is that Furio can change his face for a short period of time. He can draw almost anyone's description on to his face. Can imitate anyone's voice provided the tongue to be drawn correctly. Not only that, can paint himself into a solid color or even complex patterns to blend into the environment. But as stated, it doesn't last long as it melts in a duration of time.

Having access to money allowed him to sport a hammer-space overcoat for storing all sorts of items that he can pull out of the pockets. A Tommy gun, a Luger pistol, a inkwell, fountain pen, paint buckets, paintbrush, a dipped stiletto knife and a bottle of enhanced dip. Most importantly a picture he keeps of the one's responsible for ruining his life.

Though faceless, Furio can still see.

The only thing that remained in color was his hair and hat.

He hates both raccoons and mirrors.
