What have I been reading lately? More like what I've been TRYING to read. 
I found this series through my daily foraging for Trantkat art and comics (I'd suggest picking up AGAPE if you find it- amazing art and sequentials)
First and second issues of Skydoll by Barbuci and Canepa. The comic is entirely in french, aaaand I don't know a lick of french. I've been following the story by the kindess of fellow Skydoll fans over in Europe who've whipped up more or less rough translations of the script in english.
I found it a bit tedious to go from reading the comic to pulling up the word file, so I've been kind 'fan subbing' the comic for myself- yea, nerd I know.
If anyone knows where I can get, borrow, download or buy a translated copy of the first issue (or more. I really want to see where the story goes) PEASE point me in the right direction.

Ahoy! :thumbsup: just joined the forums tonight to see what I could see.
The names Kozispoon. I'm 21 and hang my hat here in the loveliness that is SanFrancisco. I'm a student here at the Art Institute, of which I only have a couple quarters left to snag that degree of awsome.
I've always been into comics. The younger years it was stuff like Batman and Wolverine comics stashed under my bed, nowadays, I've been really getting an addictive affinity for web comics as well as up and coming underground artists who staple their photocopied masterpieces to sell at the Isotope comic store down the street from my college. :wub:
I'm more or less acquainted with sequential art, but its that- 'I know her name, but I never had the guts to sit down and REALLY get to know her' kind of relationship. Here's hoping my stay here will change that.
If you find being sprawled out on a carpet around a circle of artists and sketchpads, swapping 'art autographs' and just talking shop a good way to spend an afternoon, then you'll love me My love spans to alot of branches of art, from your traditional comic book art and story (all time fav being Niel Gaimens SANDMAN series and the french Skydoll comic series) to good ol' animation (of which Richard Williams and Disneys Gargoyles series are just two of many favs).
