Almitas sought knowledge eternally, even at the cost of his own world. The universe he once lived in is now his power source and private haven, accessable through portals he creates at will. He can alter objects (or people) in his universe, but not create them to be used outside of it (exa: he could hold a piece of metal into a portal and draw it out as a sword, but any sword fabricated in his universe from nothing would cease to exist when drawn into the VOID universe.)
