Lauraaa well NOW I am just awaiting the day that we can jam irl :> As it better come, now that you got my hopes up
Spooooon: well I literally had no idea what to do with them until one evening I drew weeble George and all was well in the universe again
Karma: It's gonna be great, I hope
Flutter: ah, I see! TBH this is the first time I am doing comics like this so this has been a nice field for experimenting. Also the first time I am doing something that is kind of continuous so it's been pretty interesting!

JETSTER- This was a nice marriage of the style you were working with throughout the tournament, as well as a nod to your opponents. The fact you used the Fearn style for a dream sequence was a really fitting touch. I honestly have no complaints. You kept to your comedy guns, but infused a bit of Haret's aesthetic and that ain't easy to do. Kudos!
FEARN- You are sticking to this artful approach and taking us on adventures we didn't even know we wanted to go on. The surrealistic aspect of this particular battle really appealed to me-and considering how off the wall the sexiest geniuses are, I think you managed to bring that across, but in true Fearn fashion. Makes me wonder why you were so concerned about portraying these characters. They fit like a glove in your comic narrative.

Jetster: I think meeting Fern on her own battleground was an awesome idea! It could have benefited you to clean your linework on those portions a little bit though, since it looks rather messy at parts (I think those are pencil lines left over?). But you work digitally, and lineless, so I can understand it being a hard style to follow up on. On another note, I like that Bodot seemed to actually like Haret since he doesn't seem to really like anybody. Also, I like one of George's "babes" looking so businessman like, hehe. Even if they're just there to draw comics for him.
Fern: Cute animals, weeblewobble George, swirly raincloud things. I think this is my favorite comic of yours in the tournament to look at so far. Everything just looks so appealing and cute, even when Bodot drowns, haha. I wonder, if Haret reaches the end of this world she's exploring, what's she going to find there? I'm super curious about her conclusion.

What I mean is that one might initially think that approaching a death match tourney from such a drastically different angle (thematically, artistically, conceptually, etc) might not work for very long, but Haret's been going strong, possibly to the finals, and that fact is super interesting! You've maintained the purity of your concept and approach this whole time and slain everyone in your way. It's so impressive!

Hahaaa ommm Laura your comic is ace! I think it's your best one in the tournament! And yeah, that's exactly what we look like the indie comics wankers ahahaha. LOVE ITTT.
Fred: I was in a funny place last week I am glad you like this one better though, I guess simpler things work better for this kind of comic.
Flutter: they fight till they die! Can you elaborate, please? I am not sure what you mean with your comment.

I like how the break between the indie comic dream and reality is marked with traditional vs digital art, with visible scanning artifacts and everything. It's rougher around the edges than the look it's imitating, but that lends to the visual difference between worlds.
Fearn, just what is this dreamscape that Haret's exploring? All this time, Haret's been off in another world, which has kept her on another level in all these matches. It's been interesting to see just how long a character can fight from such a drastically different genre.

I liked that you tried to get Fern's style in your comic jay, though I feel it may somewhat have been to your detriment, as your strength lies quite differently.
Fern, as much as last round felt like you were running out of energy, this comes back into it perfectly, the charming trippy quality of these comics again in their full effect. Good shit.
