"SO you chose to hire Matches the Clown. That's all well and good, but there's a couple of things you should know before making the contract.

To start off, you need to understand why he's cheap. Matches is a simple man of simple actions, murder and arson is all he's good at. Ask anything else of him, and you'll only have yourself to blame for an undesirable outcome.
Now, it's not that he is incapable of doing it... he just doesn't want to. We've tried reasoning with him, tried to explain how he could increase his earnings by just expanding his range of services. But in the end, it was like talking to a wall. It doesn't help that he barely communicates at all.
We sometimes think he's just obsessed with killing and burning everything to a crisp. But can't say for sure, as we've never seen him show any signs of enjoyment or any emotion during his job. It's almost as if he's a machine following his programming.
We do know for a fact he's not a machine, or a meta for that matter; we always screen them for that sort of thing before adding them to our listing.
It's worth mentioning, however, that despite being human, he's quite sturdy. He has been observed to shake off horrifying wounds in order to finish the job, and fire hardly bothers him at all. That, alongside his utter detachment from emotion makes him a fairly reliable man for the job.
