Heya! 

I joined the site just yesterday and so far I'm blown away by how friendly and welcoming everyone has been in the community!  I have a real drive and motivation (refreshing, after being uninspired for a long time,) to participate in all the neat little things void has to offer and to work on my art some more!  I'm actually developing some of my in-the-works webcomic ideas into my first character submission and I'm super stoked!  I'm really hoping to see a lot of improvement now that I have something to dump artwork into.

My name is Alex (or demfae), I'm 22 years old and I've worked on art for almost all of my life.  I had a falling out with being an artist for quite some time, but I've recently came to terms with myself that I should take the plunge and aim to be a full-time artist some day.  I'm currently working on fine-tuning my skills in my spare time when I'm not barista-ing so I can get my tattoo apprenticeship!
