@Shojin Hah! Thanks! I was actually wondering when somebody was going to catch that! The punch thing with Linsey's face.

@Runic: Love the comic. Everything has pretty much been covered here. Except i feel like the action where she punched her looked awkward because the action of her swing does not match up with the action of the head/body of Linsey. Her head should have been turned in the direction the punch had been thrown. Other than that, nice work. Hope to you what you'll do in the next round.
@ Slagglle: I hope you'll put up a BB of the fight. Good luck on your future battles.

Sure the story was short and not too developed for now, but quite entertaining, I must say! Love the second panel, last page. She screams of badassery.

Runic - Props for having such a rich, full comic done again. Keep doin what you're doin, cause it's working! Unfortunately it came at the price of story, which admittedly wasn't terrible. I do appreciate the nod to Slag's previous comic. Solid work!!
Slaggle - Bummer, but if this means you're free to really give it your all, I'm all for it.

Aaah Slagglle. Sorry to see you default.
RUNIC: I love the selective use of colour, and the grey scale. You did a fantastic job. There's a little bit of a perspective issue on page two frame two but that's about the only nit-picky thing(artwise) I can think of right now. Good job picking up where her last left off. It looks like it could have ended a little further on, but I like it as is anyway. Keep on trucking *fistpump* I'm loving your work~

Dammit Slagglle! I had such high hopes for you in this tournament!
Runic: OK, second battle... first I have to say, be aware of your perspective and how characters are affected by it, it looked like your characters turned into Chibi's whenever you zoomed out for a wide angle shot, don't do that! Perspective is a fickle mistress, so don't try to cheat her or you'll wind up with an awkward looking comic. The story... well it wasn't bad, standard void battle affair. I really hope you push yourself further in this next round.

This was funny in a random sort of way. I love how crisp and clean this comic felt at times. Though I found the painterly effects at times to be of contrast to that ideal. Colors choices, while I'm not an expert, I find them odd at times and interesting at other points. I guess that's more of an experimental thing so I guess I can only give vague thoughts there. You showed me the first page before which I thought was great, those steam effects are great and I love those. I may have to bug you and ask you how you did them some other time. Page 4, Ridley's proportions, basically her legs look really wierd in that top panel. I'd watch out for that. Overall I liked it, though a bit short, considering the deadline and the quality though, it was great.
Slaglle, it's unfortunate but you definitely wowed people the first round, so I hope to see some kickass comics from you soon.

Thanks angieness! =D Helpful for sure because I was really unsure if I was laying in too thick with my colors/tones. Now I know. And you know what they say? Knowing is half the battle!

I know about the short deadline so I'm gonna cut you some slack for the bgs, I do think you should lay off on things like blur though for clarity sake. I think the comic was a lot of fun and I like the way you draw the characters, you have a fun style! One thing I'd like to see you work on is your toning. Overall everything feels like it's kind of one overall tone so it kind of makes your coloring look muddy. There's rarely a true light light or dark dark, you just have a lot of medium tones.

Gotta say I'm looking forward to it too. I'm officially a Slagglle fan, but Runic put out some pretty solid work in the first round so I'm looking to see some fireworks here.
