What are your proudest moments while being a responsible grownup and making meals for yourself at home, instead of just going out to the nearest McDonald's for a Big Mac? Take a picture and post it here! This is the ONLY acceptable time to take photos of food. Restaurant snappers, go sit in a corner now and think about what you did.

Makin' onigiri- I looooove pickled plum filling.

The fried fish were store-bought and the miso soup is insta-mix BUT WHATEVER I PUT TOGETHER A MEAL AT HOME also protip throw veggies into the rice cooker with your rice you won't regret it i used yam here

Art Jams / Re: The Alignment Jam

This thread DOES exist apparently 8D
I started with my intended Void roster, then went "eh" and filled in the rest with some less embarrassing OCs. Was surprised I was able to fill in all the alignments.
Sorry I didn't draw in new pics for this.
p.s. this was just for fun and isn't intended as a strict guide on how to portray my characters.
p.p.s. blasts from the past.
p.p.p.s. 69th post.
p.p.p.p.s. I figure Faye is in Lawful Neutral only because she follows military protocol.

Ummm is Vancouver close enough?

+1 for random matchups please. I doubt I'll make it to round 5 (not with that attitude, i won't) so I'm disappointed I have close to 0% chance of fighting some folks in the upper bracket, rather than having a greater than 0% chance.

Would it be possible at all to have this tournament start on a Wednesday or Thursday? That way we get at least part of the weekend to do each round. As a 9-5er that also teaches til 8pm mon-wed I feel this would be better as a lot of us are 9-5ers or students.

Or am I just being a weakass babby whiner?

THE INCUBATOR / Re: Trying to gathering ideas for characters...
« on: Jan 15, 2016, 01:09 PM »
I'm liking the name. The advice I have today is to add to what previous comments have said about a character's biography. Void is a very open-format place (this goes for character design and world creation too) so you do it the way you like, don't worry about being told off for doing it wrong. :) Mine, for example, consist of:

1.) a series of bird chirps and angry screeching
2.) a military dossier that indirectly tells the audience about the character while making an entertaining reading experience

So go ahead and get creative!

I've actually got a comic I can submit to this.  It's the one I made for class back in December. I'll reformat the page size and send it to you.

[EDIT] Wait, this is themed? :\ Can't do it then, will have to make a new comic... The one I thought I could submit is a horror story.

Gonna come out of hiding and throw my hat into this ring. Will have a character up tonight or tomorrow night.

Can't beat a tree though, that's my favourite so far.
