GO FOR BROKE! / Re: E ~ Yaz´art

I, for one, am always pleased to see you on the upswing of an art movement Yaz. As I know you're quite moody with it. Remember if anyone
ever asks if you're a god- the answer is always "YES!"

Keep up the experimentation and finish some stuff. Maybe less costumes and anatomy as we know you're beyond pro at that and more page layouts, design work.

Xia has apparently been eating her Wheaties. Breakfast of Champions!

Keep those Invitational Tourney Hypes coming my peoples! It kicks the spurs into my hardcore comic making sides!

Awesome renditions all around.

You're welcome Joe, I'm always happy to help those willing to help themselves in improving their craft. Once I'm done with this Invitational Tourney I'll be able to devote more time to this- Thresher and you are my next disciples for sure.

Things are going well for Fed I think, it's been interesting to see him up his game and quality thus far.

Angie, if you're otherwise occupied I would be happy to pick up some slack in playing editor to a few chosen people at a time. I tended to do so at WFA although my expertise is perhaps I bit more limited than yours- (COLORING, DIGITAL) I can spin a good yarn and crack a mean whip.

If Fed is game, so am I.

Great contributions from the lot of you in terms of input and critique as well as book reviews. Definitely had me laughing in several spots and you covered a lot of territory. I'd have liked to hear more from Willy D about Comicon but great thorough reviews.

Robot Alchemic Drive voiceacting- indeed. 3:30

Dat ass.

No worries my fishy friend. You've perfectly captured all the bounce to each and every ounce.

Just curious Kinuch- who didn't want their characters included as I'm doing a massive roster pinup fan art myself and hoping for inclusion in the Anthology. I shall post a pencilled draft to get as many blessings as possible.

Smashingly good reporting gents. I'm terribly flattered with all the mentions and your thorough critique of my battle meant a lot. Somehow far more profound hearing it discussed than merely text in a comment box.

You cover a great breadth of content here and its terribly inspiring to hear this kind of discussion going on about the Tourney. Adds a whole other level to it. Keep em coming.

Kinuchio, You have my unabashed blessing, keep up the glorious work.

I'd love to do a pinup myself but not sure who all's permission I would need or who would desire my to do one of them.

I'd like to do a core cast void shot or a face to face lineup rack focus shot of some heavies facing off. Like the end of the X-Men cartoon credits where they all charge into each other sidelong- kinda like that. I have heaps of other ideas depending on what's alright with you lot.

Thank you Orange. That means a lot coming from you. Glad to be here after putting it off for all these years.
We'll see how I do with this rapid fire bracket set up. Hopefully I can keep up the pace.

Let's do this. I've been waiting years for the chance.

Name: Toro Joe
Aliases: Joey “The Bull” Testeroni
Height: 6’1”
Weight: 150 lbs
Age: 30
Occupation: Bull Fighter/Butcher

Background:

A classically trained bullfighter whom fought to secure meat rights for his families butchery business. Distracted by a beautiful dame, he was gored and would have died were it not for the drugs meant to keep his heart beating. Now dependent on the harness to live, he’s become a prize fighter even in search of the next dose of battle.

Personality:

Utilizing his skills as a butcher to ascend the ranks of Void mob hitmen, Joe Toro made a name for himself in shadowed spaces. He’s a cut throat businessman with ambition and a zero tolerance policy for bs, allowing him to brush shoulders with politicos and criminal scum alike. As cutting with his words as with his blades, Toro eviscerates his enemies with rapier wit before rending their flesh asunder in his trapjaws.

Abilities:
Developed a serum from bull secretions, which enhance his physical prowess when enraged. Athlete par excellence. Agile enough to dodge every last assassins bullet and bull horn, save one. Strong like bull.
Swordsmanship. Skilled with all manner of cutting implements.

Equipment:

Steel Trapjaw Shoulder Plates- synched to central nervous system via blow plug clamped through bull gore wound in sternum through to spinal column. Responsive to psychic cues. Capable of independent manipulation for both offense/defensive purposes. Various stimulants injected from spike plates, neurotoxins to psychotropics.

Toreador Threads- serve as both distraction and stealth suit. The cloth is a zylon composite meant to resist damage as well as transform colors at will to suit Joe’s liking.
