If this was starting a month later I would be all over it like a fat kid on a cupcake.

There's a weird bug with them where you can get a ton of money really really fast. Actually that whole expansion is crazy buggy, so you're not missing much.

PROTESTING YAY!!! I'm in the front with the guitar. and apparently i have groupies. with makeshift signs that say "GO SHANE"
that damn photographer took the picture while i was flipping the bangs out of my eyes...

ass.

Since I can't read those signs, I have no idea what you're protesting (and don't care), but damn if a protest sign reading "THE arts" doesn't make me laugh.

I also enjoy how the shim holding that sign also looks strikingly like Elio. As we all know, he is dead serious about "THE arts"

Sweet I caught a Dark Place marathon on once and was just mesmerized for like hours.

If you want to see a really funny video with the one dude on the far left of that picture, check this out:

Oh man! That was awesome! He totally Baxter'd that pooch!

Kuro: Yeah, IT Crowd gets better as it goes on. It's definitely more of a traditional sitcom-type show, rather than the irrational mayhem that these guys usually do. Man to Man is really good too... I've been running around screaming 'BITCH KILLER!" for the past two days.

Also, I just noticed that this:

Was posted above this:

GARTH MARENGHI'S DARK PLACE

and THE IT CROWD (which I hear they are remaking into an American version, which will undoubtably suck)

Richard Ayoade and Matt Berry are officially the funniest people in all the universe. You can find all episodes of these shows on Youtube, which I suggest you do.

...Also, are you talking about the shitty reprint of The Incal by Humandoids/DC they put out recently, with the butchered re-colors? Stay away from that. Far far away.

It broke my heart to see the homeo-slut with a badly done gradient.

Can anyone recommend a wicked solid comic by Moebius that would be available in Canada?

I saw some pics from metal hurlant and prefer that to the stuff i have seen with bad coloring that
was written by jodorowsky.

I am also on the lookout for some Tintin comics.

You'd probably dig 'Arzach' a lot. There's no dialogue, just weird pteradyctal-inner mind mayhem. If you're lucky, you can find the old Heavy Metal issues with it at a used book store, or maybe the collection at a decent comic shop. If not, there's always Amazon or something...

The 'Aedena' series is probably his best stuff though. They have trades of all of those in English out now. His shorts are always my favorite though. 'It's A Small World' is so good!!

Or if you're looking for super dense story driven Moebius, there's always 'Blueberry'. One book of that will probably last you a week.

Good show!

Anyways, I've been reading THIS----!

It's not a comic, but that doesn't stop it from being my favorite thing in the underverse. It's got 200 pages of know-how and history of mutherfucking space marines! Now you too can be the ultimate badass!

My copy of Wonton Soup finally arrived(God that thing is near impossible to get in England, even on Amazon.co.uk).

Anyway, either i got a faulty copy or i'm missing something somewhere, i read up to the part where Johnny and Citrus are going to Citrus' school when something appears behind johnny, then the next page jumps all the way back to where Johnny and Citrus first meet after Johnny lands on Plaxos. Then it goes through the love scene again after it goes back to the scene where they are going to school again it skips FORWARD to after Johnny has gone to his teachers place and Deacon walks up saying he's hungry, then they start talking about the Twins(Not sure the exact story there because it isn't actually in my book) and carries on like nothing happened.

Anybody have similair problems or just me? Is their any news of any faulty copies of the book or am i just entirely missing some weird storytelling point?

Yeah man, sounds like you got a faulty copy. I've heard about this happening a couple times with other books, but this is the first with mine.

Just email or call the amazon customer service hoobajoob, and they're send you a fresh one lickity split. It won't take ages to get now, cus apparently they just got them into stock a week or so ago.

SORRY DOOD.

That space comic looks promising, you should finish that.

Your ladies are getting a lot more tastey too. I could see myself having a pull looking at that middle panel space chick.

You should send some stuff to Whitewolf. You kind of have the perfect style for what they want.

Dude you need to go back and post this two days ago, telling me its coming out tomorrow. Actually I think new comics day is today, Thursday, with Thanksgiving backing it up and all. Or are you still on Canada holidays or something? You heathen bastard.

Im picking this up, thats a promise from me.

Today while I was at the comic shop, blissfully unaware that James' book was on the shelf, I picked up Popgun. Yet another comic our friend mr Stokoe had his dirty mits in.

Nevermind, I'm a nit, it's coming out tomorrow.

There's a great review for it here that nails all the good and bad bits that I feel about it --->http://indiepulp.blogspot.com/2007/12/wonton-soup.html

I AM READING THIS WONDERFUL GRAPHIC NOVELLA ENTITLED WONTON SOUP, OUT IN STORES SINCE YESTERDAY.

WOW, IT'S SO GREAT.

...oh yeah, good movies....

Marley rented this movie the other night...

...and it actually suprised me about how good it is. Basically, it's about these 2 actresses who are vying for the same role, and the producing company puts them up together in the same apartment. They start off doing little petty things to one another, like stealing drinks/using shit without asking/whatever, but it keeps escalating and escalating until it gets absolutely fucking ridiculous.

Check it out if you like BITCHES.

oh and...SCREAMERS!!

The Last Man is based off a book called 'I Am Legend', which they are making into a movie starring.....

.....wait for it....

almost....
