HELLO FRIENDS so I am gonna kick things off by spamming a bunch of Void chara fanart I did tonight--I wanted to draw my favorite characters (so far at least) in my own style just so I can get used to it because I am sure I will be drawing them again LMAO So here we go, we've got Sherry Pride, Miller, MARS, Wizzie Bells and Onion Princess!

In all seriousness though I am SUPER pumped for your guy and I am even more excited for us to do a battle one of these days hehe! The only thing I can think to suggest for his design is maybe add some more detailing with some color or something? I feel like his outfit looks kind of dull just as it is because it's all just white--if you add little decals that are maybe bright green (like stereotype computer programming green LOL) or purple like his hair it might stand out a little bit more!

I think it might be fun too to make him look a little less human, like make his eyes one pure color like white or green or pink? Instead of human-ish eyes... That's just my bias though and you know my bias LMAO I am excited to see your comic though and I love this chara concept and I LOVE YOU SHIVAN so I know you are gonna do a great job!!

@G.Lo: Thank you so much for your input! ;; I guess my pride is just a little iffy on the matter because I am anticipating a large amount of very questionable frames coming from me in the future haha! Between the two though, I definitely have a preference for Mynx if only because of her exaggerated features and stuff, so due to the things you all have told me in addition to the strong preference you all seem to have for her, I think she will definitely be my final decision!

@Puzzlething: That's a really interesting thing to keep in mind! If I can be honest, these two characters are actually... the exact opposite of what I usually make, haha! In actuality, I have a tendency to make supernatural characters, like monsters, demons, ghosts, etc.--like that's been my gimmick for a very long time now, so I decided to try and make some more... down-to-earth type characters as a practice run. I think when I get a little more experience here at Void, I'll make my secondary character more like my typical types of characters because man do I have an itch to make a ghost or something! I will also definitely do some more research so I can try to get a better understanding of her body type... I really love to have characters with a wide variety of body types and features, so you're right, the more practice I can get, the better. Thanks so much for your kind words and feedback! ;;

Hello! I've been lurking for the last few days trying to decide what kind of characters would fit this community the best, and I've narrowed it down to two. For now, I've just drawn some basic concept art of them both, because I'd like to ask for some input on which you all think would work best as my first character, but once I decide on who I'll use, I'll post a detailed concept sheet & some thumbnails.



On the left we have Scott Ramsey. He is 37 years old and is a professor at a university. He is incredibly bitter and always shows up to his classes drunk. In his teen years, he wanted to study and practice fine art, but was rejected from every school that he applied to, and so he settled on becoming a teacher, thinking it'd be the easiest job he could land. He has a tendency to be rude and harsh towards his students, grading all of his assignments meticulously as a release for the rage he still feels about his own scholarly failures long ago. While he still has a passion for painting, he hasn't touched a canvas in over 10 years, as the sting of failure still burns within his heart.

On the right is Mynx Milano. She is 29 years old, and she is a wealthy widow. She married her high school sweetheart when she was 18 years old and for a while, they struggled. Her husband, however, always had dreams of becoming an inventor--and one day, one of his inventions hit big, leading them to accumulate a large amount of money very quickly. Shortly after, however, Mynx's husband died suddenly of a heart attack. Nowadays, Mynx spoils herself rotten, spending ludicrous amounts of money on fine jewelry, fur coats and expensive food. She also has a tendency to prey on younger men, flirting and coaxing them into bed, as a coping method due to the loss of her husband. An incredibly emotional woman, Mynx's expressions are always incredibly over the top, whether she is feeling happy, sad, or anywhere in between.
