SHIT! Monday lost because of a page mix-up?

The scores are SO CLOSE! I\'ve been without internet for a few weeks now and  popped on today to catch up and I\'m like \"How could Monday\'s awesome battle have lost?\" and it\'s because the pages were fuxxed.

LET THIS BE A LESSON TO ALL OF US. DON\'T FUX YOUR PAGES.

Monday: It was pretty good. I always like the way you develop your characters in only a few short pages.I like that the whole thing takes place aboard a train, its an interesting dynamic that opens up the comic for alot of possibilties.

Geth: I really liked the way you treated the terrible 2. You made everything believable and the comic flowed nicely. The art was good too. Impressive for only a weeks time.

Pretty good fights, but everybody is bringing up alot of good points.

Monday: You\'re defenetly trying something new with the text, but pon nailed it when he said that you could of done away with the first handful of pages, as usual the pages are always hard to figure out, I did honestly take the time to read this, and it was just a little better than your stuff with black. Your text was much much easier on the eyes (Including your little subtext below pictures) and things here were a bit easier to understand. But artwise, it\'s the same old same old stuff... you gotta do something different mang! Ever think of doing what hiemie does and use traditional mediums?

Blusegeth: Pretty intresting fight, though some of the red translation text was very difficult to read. I have you on par artwise with monday since you could stand to add a bit more detail into some panels, but this comic was a bit more intresting and too the point. Vote goes to you.

Both of you did a great job, but we gotta see some changes soon, drastic ones!

i couldnt tell what happened in either comic....a lot of artist lately are getting caught up in themselves.  You need to realize that without your vision we cant see the story the way you see it so somtimes a more simplified panel or just a more clean panel is needed.
Im no novice, ive been a comic nerd for a LONG time and it boild down to one thing, you are using a sequence of pictures to tell a story....quite frankly if the reader has to go back multiple times to decipher whats going on you arent telling the stoy the best you can.

Your my boy Monday
But BSLugeth managed to do more with your characters than you did.

Monday has the same problem that Yasuhiro Nightow had in his earlier works namely, a heavily detailed panel that nobody can tell what the fuck is going on in.  I like your art, the action, the angles, but sometimes like in your last page I can\'t tell what happens.  Did the wire disconnect, I think so but wouldn\'t that kill them both thus making your win a lose?  WHAT IS HAPPENING.

BSLugeth you had a good storyline I liked your interchange between the terrible two and the development that went into it.  The backgrounds and detail jump around alot though between good and sparse.

yeah, but harriets story was heavily into his characters. I felt teh character development was good the guy fights on even though he sort of jsut wanted out, and is slowly coming to understand his abilities. I felt it was good. its a tight match imo, but i gave a slight edge to monday,  blslugeth was a bit harder to follow with a few plotholes, better attention to story telling may have sold it more for me. anyhow good entries wahtever happens, happens

In a nutshell, I gave my vote to Harriet. Monday, while you do a good job of keeping up consistant pace and quality with your comics (despite their flaws), they all seem to have the same error; your characters don\'t seem to go anywhere. I understand you like playing with stoic characters whose changes are reserved for severe climaxes, but in SDT the rules are a bit different; every fight could be your last, so you have to get a move on. I enjoyed Harriet\'s fight more because I could feel the characters developing in the space of time she alotted, and it worked nicely. It\'s not so much the heavy dialogue or confusing panels that are getting to me, I can let those slide; it\'s the pacing where Harriet has the upper hand.

great work the both of you. i look forward to challanging you guys at some point in the future.

for me this was a really close one, but i gave a slight bump in points to monday as i felt his entry (once you include the two missing pages) makes a bit more sence in the end.

THanks to toast For fixing that problem for me, and to everyone who\'s had the patience to read through all this I kindly ask that you do Sluggy and least of all myself the justice reading over the missing pages (or the fight in their entirety 0_0\") and rate it accordingly- LET THE SDT BEGIN !!

I can finally rest easy losing in a fair match rather than winning on a fluke.

monday it looked great but my vote went to harriet. your fight was confusing, it had to much
for a sdt. it would had been nice just to see you fight your opponent right from the beggining.
i think it would had been a much smoother fight.love your rendition of the plane.

harriet awesome job... very unique style and performance love the plane and the endition of the Two\'s .

awesome job the both of yous.

Kudos to the both of you, the art and storylines are fantastic, and even more impressive considering the stress of SDT. Good luck to you both!

monday: wonderful stuff as usual. but it seems that there was a mess up and 5 and 6 repeat itself over again in the end. so we cant really see wat happens. but it seems that your pages are cleaning up.

bslugeth: wonderful story. love the pairing of the Two. and that character of yours is just wonderful. creepy wonderful.

OH SWEET LORD.

Monday: Great improvement on clarity! You still have problems with keeping characters looking consistent so... USE PENCILS. Just for frames! That\'s it! JUST USE THEM DAMMIT.

BSLuGeth: I voted for you on this one. Emotional and entertaining battle; a very, very entertaining battle. You\'re on of the few killing their opponent with some amount of compassion, haha. And gosh, this battle was beautiful.

*sniff*

I feel Sixtem\'s pain.  Both of these characters are great and yet we have to lose one.  Ah well, may the best SDT character win.
