What is this?
The Speed Resurrection Tournament (SRT) is an event for any VOID artist who has lost at least one character in a Death Match, or another Void artist has given you permission to use their dead character. Dead characters cannot normally compete in normal matches, but this is a very important exception.

How does it work?
Participants will choose one of their deceased fighters to enter the fray. These characters will battle in normal matches against opponents until one champion is left. The losing fighter of each match returns to the realm of the dead. The prize for the tournament champion is the character's restoration to full LIVING status! This means the character can be used in normal matches again from now on!

So I can use someone else's dead character?
Absolutely, provided that 1) You have permission to do so from the character's owner, and 2) That owner is not participating in the SRT with one of their own characters already.

Sign-Up Deadline: Friday, May 29
Draw Time per Round: One Week
Draw Time Starts: Monday, June 1st

REMEMBER:
There is no VOID official canon storyline, so the sky is the limit!

However, your comics must abide by our standard rules for posting:
1. Must be a comic. Single pin-up pages/cover will not count.
2. Both your character and your opponent's character must appear in the comic.

I have just had a bad case of nerves plus airplane fatigue I think causing me to just get stupidly anxious over nothing and so I pulled out. But people have convinced me to give it a shot so put me back in, I have no commitments other than working during this tourney so I really do wanna give my ppt chars a shot. I love Onion Princess dearly, but I don't really think we should be having anyone who's not you entering with your character.

Furthermore, I don't think we should have anyone entering with a guest character for this particular tournament. It just seems wrong. This isn't like the previous tournaments we've had where the stakes are non-existent and/or a title. the subject of character borrowing was recently a hot topic for that very reason! as it stands, mods have decided not to remove the rule in this instance, as it has already started. of course, each person may only have ONE dead character entered, period.

and, I'd really really love to join but it will be impossible for me to draw that week, so bleh
