Very pretty, great colour palette to set an otherworldly tone! backgrounds were kinda phoned in a lil in some spots but cool to see a reunion of these guys. wonder if the fella that killed 'em is gonna come up at all =D fun little adventure, looking forward to more of em this month!

I love the unearthly purple color palette, and i'm super amused at her cloak still being there. Poor dead friends! I hope to see them develop a lot in month of the dead! Hang in there!

Wolfbaloo: Not sure how the little chic died, but it seems like this "underground" is a limbo of sorts, which is a pretty neat concept to bring.

I've gotta say I'm pretty invested in this story arc. Really love the color pallet you guys went for. Making it dark yet have very minimal lighting. Also not sure how the little chic died, but it seems like this "underground" is a limbo of sorts, which is a pretty neat concept to bring.

the colors are very fun and murky and give a sense of a land of foreboding its great to see this land of the dead it feels like a very intresting world I'd love to see more adventures take place in and I am excited to see who else the poor chook runs into in this land on her journey. Though I'd love to see more imagery then just tombstones. Graves and tombstones always felt like commodities to comfort the living so I am questioning the logistics of this land, maybe the architects just had a morbid sense of humor?

On writing: Honestly, I've got no complaints! Being the first in a series makes it a bit hard to critique since theres a lot of good setup and question-raising, so I'll have to stay tuned to see what gets used and what doesn't make the cut.
On art: Obviously, the coloring steals the show here. Such an excellent palette you've got picked out, and used so strongly throughout meant I was gonna be lovin it regardless of what story it was. The roughness of it all was also a nice touch! I know it's Camel's inking style, but it does fit the supernatural-noir vibe pretty well.
Though the only place I'd argue it dropped the ball was when the cart comes rushing up to our protags. It look me a bit to realize it wasn't just one big train of carts that caterpillared its way up. I believe that's in part to the speed-line effect looking just like everything else around it, so it sorta just blends in. Maybe some rounder shapes for the smoke with more solid fills would have it read like something Other? Just sorta notes for the future. When everything's rough looking, its that much harder to make something *read* as rough looking.
But overall, I can dig it and I'm definitely tuned in for this series!
