SLAAAAAAAAAAAAADE! You've gotta plan things out so you can deliver your high-quality stuff, even if the comic is shorter or in black and white like pocky mentioned. You've got great style, and I think your character would grow a lot better in small, solid steps than in big sketchy comics.

@elge: I love the sentiment of concern rather than shaming. I probably tend towards the "DEATH BEFORE DEFAULT" mindset (which is perhaps why I'm so hard on myself right now about my recent failures). There are plenty of reasons why an artist should be able to submit something no matter what comes up. Still, I feel your compassion and realize that we never know why someone defaulted or failed to do as much as we thought they could, and that's for them to decide, not us.

slade: You should have left it completely in  black and white if you were at any moment hesitant about being able to accomplish that. I already know your work looks great, you just need to figure out how to speed up the process on your own.

Hope everything is okay for both of you, 5 weeks and delivering so little can only mean something came up for you two.
