I love this!! I love Manda!!
The angel design is awesome, too.  The whole comic makes me think of this song:

thanks, guys. it'd be interesting to know what's so 'calming' about this comic vs. my other stuff.

could it be that Manda is a character who doesn't emote very hard? the character herself is not a very reactive one? i definitely had planned to make someone who has subtler emotions and finally got around to it.

could it be the pacing ? how having panels all the same size forces you to add more panels, which slows down the action?
:|c i've got a lot to think about.

Honestly I felt odd reading this a bit cause it was Snager all the way through and it was also calm. Like I'm not sure how to explain it but holy damn, that was something to read.

This was weirdly calming to read. The lack of dialogue made me pay attention to the pictures more, and I like how you spaced out the more polished panels. The whole thing felt like a dream and made me super relaxed. Now play me some saxophone as I drift off to sleep at 1pm.

*Squints* Is that an 'All dogs go to heaven' reference?
Also Final panel on page six is fantastic

thanks, i tried to make SOME panels look good.

and: I combined a lot of pop culture heaven crap to try to capture the vibe.

I thought a Burly Gap was a clothing store for tough husky sailors.

yes, AND you can buy skate apparel there, with Manda Naranja as spokesperson

I understood about 45% of the words in the title which only intrigues me more
Quote from: Footini

translation:
"How to safely dismount while in progress of a risky aerial skate trick involving two horizontal planes of wheel contact and land in a way to minimize damage"
