Sorry about the delay - I drew this at work today. Greasser shepard killed by 90s dragon. It has pouches and futuristic gun - in retrospect I should have hidden its leg behind a rock or bending floor of some sort.

EDIT:

Living in a shell made it less afraid of the deep, and it soon tried to move away from the ground to find its prey. It hid its body deeper within a shell it grew itself with only strong tentacles reaching out to capture unsuspecting victims. It's hidden body became more flexible as it bit small holes in shell's protective surface with its eye teeth at early age in order to be able to look around comfortably. Triangle shape of it's hard shell can be used to bash into enemies, and it's covered in small spikes that tend to grow bigger and more often near the entrance hole.

I'd say it looks water based so I'd go with that:

It eats through its skin, it started to grew more tentacles in order to catch small creatures. It eye is able to glow in order to see in murky deep waters.

Is it suppose to be about the artist or the characters?

If things stay the same I don't mind having 8 people in one big angsty massacre.

Congrats MrKent

Once I posted I saw the flaws in my piece: mostly it's the small size, and background that doesn't fit the picture - I should have gone with something more syntetic.

Here are the other two I drew:

Thanks to new scripting you can post bigger picture than 800 and they'll should automatically resize to the page - so there's no need to be super strict about 800 limit cause it harm very much horizontal pictures.

Underwood this page is so awesome, but I hope that what we end up with won't be a parallel of our world so much where we worship William Duel XD

If evolution is a process to make our creature the best at survival then at some point it should improve its social aspect to include more than just one pack that rivals with other packs, which would imply the growth of intellect all together. And wouldn't it be the coolest thing if Mumu eventually was smart enough to have a pet - or even better an abstract thinking idea to create a continuous changes to its pet to make it better?

It looks like the male decided to use front legs and increase the speed while extending the torso to keep the colorful scare mane. Love the addition of horns - too bad that in our sexist human ways we decided to make the male yet again bigger and stronger than the female looks. I'm very sad as well that females also grew back their tail three times their original size out of nowhere. I do like the facial differences and how their front legs grew longer, but why did all claws shrink? Can they grow cat like? I don't see the opposite claw on the female - aren't we going to eventually evolve these creatures to mamu sapiens eventually? I think they need some way to create tool soon. They already seem smart enough to understand paterns of other animals to hunt and avoid them depending on the sex - which could later on be a great tendency of thinking for both sexes.

Cool idea Will,
The female is more blood lusting like a mosquito and from the sizes of it I'd say that it mounts the male as it might have genitalia somewhere back. I like the inclusion of different food sources for the sexes.
Can't wait for the next evolution as it seems we need to evolve both sexes at the same time now XD
