Ponch Pomperelli was a former VCPD sheriff, but was fired for being reckless, not following orders, mouthing off to his superiors, and refusal to use a firearm, and instead charging head on to wrestle the perpetrator to the ground himself.

Ponch may not be on the force anymore, but he still believe he can do Void good, and has set out to dish out justice, solo style.

Ponch is originally from the city of Santa Isreal, located a good 200 miles from Void City. Santa Isreal is a smaller beach city, located at the base of Mt. Head as it gently slopes into the sandy beaches of which Santa Isreal is most famous for. Ponch, having been fired from the VCPD, and afraid of possible crimes he may have committed, has moved back to Santa Isreal for the time being.
