Ha, I look awful.

So I had a thing on my neck. Been there since '09. I was like 99% sure it was a zit gone horribly wrong and fossilized, 0.9% possibly some kind of benign tumor, and 0.1% left for "WTF DARK SIDE OF THE INTERNET SHIT IS THIS"...

So this thing started getting a bit of personality--letting me know when the weather was changing--being a dick when I got the flu, etc. And I figured that if I let it hang around any longer I was going to have to name it, so I decided to get it taken care of.

Boy was I surprised to find out what it was!

A Branchial Cleft Cyst. Which is doctor talk for an infected goddamn GILL.

I guess I'm the mermaid lady.

I know right! Five pages is like my sweet spot, and I've kept this page open and hitting refresh to see who's entering. I've checked my equipment (sadly, I've lost my brush pen to predation by children, r.i.p.), re-hooked up my scanner, and figured out what paper I want to use. Been anxiously doing pen tests. Cleaned and organized my work area. Freaked out when I lost internet for the last day and a half.

Alright, at first, I didn't 'get' what the internet was going on about. 'Cause I just didn't find Loki all that attractive, and I found all the "I'd kneel for him any day" junk lame (I guess I'm just not submissive?).

However, ever since my hubs took me to see Coriolanus for Valentines Day, I've had a terrible crush on Tom Hiddleston. When Gareth said what we were doing for our V-day date, I replied, "Isn't that a tragedy? Kind of odd for V-day date don't you think?" And he said, "Trust me, you'll like it."

And he was right (he knows me too well).

'Cause I'm a sadist (I'm such an awful person).

Ghost is her 'distinguished' grey quarter-horse. At least that's how he would describe himself could he speak. Little Wing understands him perfectly.

Mostly it's just because Alita is just an awesome name that isn't too common and pairs nicely with our last name... But, I admit it, it is the first place I heard it.

Reminds me of when I had to get a load of metal put in my face.

Even after nearly 15 years the screws/plate feel funky as hell in cold weather, and or when I hum a particular frequency.
