Human Form:

A jackal-human hybrid loosely associated with Anubis. She spends her days as a medium, speaking to the dead for people willing to pay. Her nights are filled with the hunting of flesh, primarily from the the dead she raises.

Cursed Form:

A cursed beast from centuries ago, it manifests during the new moon or when Hana is in danger. It takes over her sensibilities and replaces it with a need to hunt or scavenge (or kill if the transformation is activated to protect her). It is significantly stronger, faster, and has much more endurance than her normal form. The form starts to rot once it has manifested, and when this process has ended, she returns to her normal form.

Personality:

Playful and outgoing. She's a bit of a thrill seeker and likes to stick her nose in other people's business, especially if there's a hint of danger. She's outwardly friendly to nearly everyone, and is easy to get along with. Clever, but makes foolish decisions to alleviate her boredom.

To prey, she's sadistic and enjoys the hunt more than the (re)killing. She plays like a cat does with her prey, and doesn't give up unless she's overpowered.

Powers:

Regeneration: She can regenerate at high speed, which feeds into her thrill seeking. In her beast form, her healing ability only slows down the rotting process.

Necromancy: She can raise the dead as mindless servants. She doesn't have the best control as she only uses this ability for her own hunting, but she can give basic commands to them. The most common use of this power is when she's hungry, she will raise bodies for her to hunt and consume.

Medium: She can speak to the dead, and manifest their essence to others. This is primarily how she makes money, and she is adept at connecting to spirits of any era.

Deterioration: Out of her control, buildings around Hana will start to deteriorate. She can't spend much time in one place before its become a ruinous shadow of its previous form.

Rot (Cursed form only): Additional appendages form around her exposed ribs, made of the same energy as her tail and tongue. This energy is the manifestation of the curse, and actively rot anything they touch, be it organic or inorganic material.
