Drama happened without me around?

GUYS I'M DISAPPOINTED YOU GOTTA WAIT UNTIL I'M AROUND

But in all seriousness it looks like while there's some worry about "veterans" on void kicking the asses of po' new kids, keep in mind that some of these guys that I brought over are considered "veterans" as well--on the Deviantart OCT (Original Comic Tournament) Circuit.

Even though the Deviantart OCT Circuit is considered pretty low-tier compared to Void (for good reason), it's clear that these guys are willing to bring their a-game and bring some comics.

I'm glad lots of people came to Void, since the OCT circuit is becoming a horrible, cliquish place that's more about what your character did on some roleplay on Tumblr and less about, y'know, COMICS and ART and GETTING BETTER and BEING AWESOME.

Void's awesome, y'guys. We're not worried. I'm not an admin or an older member so I might be outta line saying this, but it might be a good idea for Wei/Orange/Qyz/Everyone involved to take this to PM or Email or MSN? I KNOW void's not the "fractured bickering group" that Joe thinks it is. We're better then that.

What luck! I wanted to do a battle as well, and seeing as Ernesto is tied up at the moment with VS Anita, I'd be willing to do a quick battle with Gray! My character is M-Zero-Oh. : D

Trailer: http://youtu.be/Kl8_momJbqA

totally reposting what I wrote elsewhere BUT

So, I loved this film.

It’s one of the few horror films that’s successfully managed to make to make me lean back and go “NooooOOOOOPE” in a long time, thanks to the way that director Mendoza manages to build up this feeling of unease as you follow main character Emily.

I saw parts of this film when I was working the San Francisco International Asian American Film Festival, then managed to finish it all the way through later, and it sticks with you. HP Mendoza has this great visual style, which really makes this film strong in terms of storytelling and mood.

If you see this film’s playing somewhere at a film festival or at an arthouse somewhere, go run out and see it! I’m not sure if the director is going to try and sell DVDs of this/upload this somewhere, but if he does, it’s worth checking out. Even if you don’t like films with high creep factor, you have to check it if you’re a storyteller (writer, illustrator, comic artist) yourself. There’s lots to learn from here.

Dropped a journal on my DA blog, now going to pimp it the fuck out everywhere I go.

Also going to start compiling a huge-ass list of people I know on DA and in IRL who would be interested. Time to start composing pitches....

New here? / Re: INTRODUCE YOURSELF
« on: Mar 03, 2012, 08:29 PM »
Oh shoot, I never posted here! D :

Howdy, I'm Tofubeast. I've participated in two SpeedDeath Tournaments (Speedeath 2011, MILLER), and before that, I lurked the voidchat and the incubator before growing the balls to actually submit my steady character here. I'm excited to see some people I knew from before, and excited to give this place my all!

I survive on a diet of ink and booze.

Thanks to my secret santa!

I feel god damn awful for not being able to get my thing in. I have something all ready to roll, I just don't have a computer capable of scanning anything in anywhere, and I don't know when I will be able to get to one. I'm sorry, Eli, and I'm sorry, everyone else. Right now I kind of need to pull all my shit together, but when I have enough money and everything's settled I'll upload it all. > :

I'd like to try!

Either

http://entervoid.com/character.php?id=1962 Cupcake Miller or http://entervoid.com/character.php?id=1941 Clamuel Matsumoto is fine with me!

Oh gosh let's hope this wooorks

Clamuel Matsumoto is a roughnecked clam dude from the planet Pacifiko. His hobbies include fightin', drinkin', smokin', crashin' bikes, bein' a man, boastin', and more fightin'. As he is from an aquatic planet (as well as being a clam) Clamuel can survive for long periods of time underwater, has a hard head (shell?) and can literally spit out Pearls of Man wisdom.
