April has officially come to a close, and so has the DIOV Tournament! There were some really great entries... but of course there can only be one winner. So we'd like to give a big ol' congratulations to...

But that's not all that happened in April, so let's take a look at the rest of what April brought us:



For Quality and Entertainment, Recipe for Disaster by Rivana and Rockman came in with a score of 8.21 and 8.16, respectively! It was also the highest overall scoring comic of April, with an overall score of 8.04!



For Creativity, How I met your moth... I mean became Mayor by Cab came in with a score of 7.90!



DIOV Tournament '23 Round Two / Burmeister vs. Kubo by Kubo
This round was something amazing from both competitors, and though The Blister Cryptid was the one who ultimately moved on in the competition, I would like to recognize the effort and work made by Kubo. The story starts off immediately after the first round and becomes a long fight between the Fox King and this mysterious Heroine. The paneling and the choreography of the fight was mapped out extremely well. The colors and linework are top notch, which makes it easy to see why the battle was so close. I whole-heartedly recommend that you go back and read this short tale once more. Hopefully we might see more of the Unleashed Fox king in the near future. And to Kubo; I’ve always been amazed by your work and I look forward to the next stories you have in store. Keep on creating!
