So no defaults.

I have a script that I'm satisfied with (granted, if I knew it was going to be a 32 page comic I'd have a bigger script but...) though the script is written like a short story. So I may need to do some creative editing to get it to six pages. Right now I'm working on a cover page though so I can be one of the cool kids.

I know how you feel. I wrote a pretty long script and now I have to cut a bunch of crap out so I can actually draw it in a week.
Shit sucks.

I've suddenly remembered how terrible I am at writing stories.

This is gonna be a long week...

I found out about void almost a year ago after I found Lysol jones on Deviantart. For that last year I've just been coming here every now and again to read the comics. This tournament seemed like a good chance to get in to void and start making comics.

I'm with Hiemie on this. I probably wouldn't follow a set plotline if you all made one.
Plus I thnk it's more interesting to see everybody come up with their own stories and whatnot.

Wonderful, I see we got 24 prospectives. If you all enter right now, you'd all get in. 8 more, then everyone gets in again.

The next landmark is 32 people. Tell EVERYONE.

Wouldn't a 24 person tournament end in a three way?

I'm totally getting in on this.

Name: Lindsey Pescione
Age: early 22
Detective

A French-Italian woman living in London. As a child she lived in Italy with her parents and brother. Her gambling addicted father accumulated huge debts to various people and eventually left the family and fled Italy. With their source of money gone, people kept coming to collect the debt from her mother who couldn't pay. Fed up, the collectors killed her mother and Lindsey and her brother were sent off to live with different adoptive families. Lindsey's new family moved to London to get away from the collectors. As she grew older, she began to resent her father for leaving and getting her mother killed. Lindsey had resolved to find her father and have him arrested. Problem was, she had no idea where he went. She had the idea to hire a detective to help track him down, but ultimately couldn't afford it. Instead she took it upon herself to start researching and searching for him. Through her work, she helped solve several smaller cases but could not find out anything regarding the whereabouts of her father. After getting a request to find a man in Void City who fits her last known description of her father, she heads off in hopes of finding him.

Lindsey is well mannered and kind to just about everybody, but she has a short temper and does not put up with crap. She's a fairly serious person, pretty smart and optimistic.
Fluent in French.

I finally have a character, it's like a dream come true.
