Snowy - Ugh I love Dairyu. She gives off such a smug energy but in an appealing way if that makes sense? Idk she’s clearly confident in her abilities and she’s just so smooth with her taunts lmao. I also dig this lavender colour you used for the background. Great fighting and panelling, I think the camera could have been pulled back a little though as I don’t get the sense they’re in the big, colosseum-like space that the arena was shown to be. Interested to see what this cult business is all about!

Fluff - Did Dairyu just pull the old “puts sword in sheath then cut appears” on Rickter? Excellent. Great pop out panels too, especially on page 6, great flow from Rickter to Dairyu’s sword . Also woah the ending! I knew this was adults only but Mamma Mia that was spicy!

I had a lot of fun with this even if it came out a lil rushed. Thank you Snowy for battle me and thank you Riv for getting me to go after Snowy. I'm so happy to finally have this ship set sail. There will be more of both of them! I cannot wait for Snowy's epilogue

Snowy - Your art is so nice and crisp and steadily improving. I was just in awe  at how beautiful your inks are. I'll have to echo that I had difficulty following the story at first but second read through cleared things up for me!! Maybe switching to something other than light purple or adding a punch of red/orange/yellow  would've helped the tense more action packed situation deliver. But darn, how do you do such clean art (I am still not over that lol). I really need to know this secret.


Fluff - Your story was much easier to follow for me overall.  The art is cute too and I had fun looking for Dairyu in those stalking panels. Bob seems  to be getting  quite popular in the arena and that amuses me. I do hope to  see more polished works from you though, some panels feels rushed but I commend you to not sacrificing clarity with them which is a great skill to have. And whoa that ending was so unexpected! Love it!

Dairyu's Tsundere energy has such great chemistry with Rickter's Trash Man personality. I def hope to see more of these two in more shenanigans. I did hear that there is an epilogue coming up so I'll be looking forward to that!

i joke. but also these stories don't really explain why Rickter and Dairyu immediately just want to smash. is it a love at first sight kinda thing?

snowy critique: I had trouble following your fight choreography, but that's not as big a deal as when I was trying to figure out what was going on leading up TO the fight and what was happening just after. on the re-read, I take it that Dairyu was following Rickter, but for her own reasons. then she was randomly informed by a stranger that she needed to go to the arena to fight him. after the fight, she meets someone who works for a church/cult. I guess they threatened her so she killed them.

I'm having a hard time separating the two stories in my head: is Rickter on the run from the cult in BOTH versions or just on Fluff's side? I was thinking he was on the run but also investigating the cult, too. But that seems like a bad idea, if he's into self preservation.

in Fluff's version of events, it's more clear that Dairyu has been hired to track down Rickter. then when they catch up to him, he acts like Dairyu is already his buddy and Dairyu acts like she immediately doesn't work for the cult any more. is it because they just paid her in cake? that's rough, buddy. imagine being paid in one (1) cake for pulling a double shift.

why buy the cake when you can get it at home for free? Why is the cake free? we don't ask questions, we just consume the cake.

in this metaphor : the cake stands for Rickter's ass.

Both Stories had solid lineworks and entertaining stories!

Loved both of them and I believe I already told you guys how well you did in a call but I will say again that I was enthralled by both stories. they are great reads and I hope to see more of these two in the near future!

SNOWY: Gorgeous lines as always, your inks are so lovely and flowing, they really match your character! I gotta admit tho the fight scene was a little hard to follow. Like on panel 3 page 6 is the sword moving towards him, or just stopped midair? I think maybe this could have used some like... speedlines or hitsparks or sound effects, something to make it feel more energized and alive. i LOVE the panel layouts though, very dynamic! I love what a coy little flirt she is at the end~
FLUFF: ok i said this in chat but that epilogue hit me like a truck XD I wont elaborate since I see you aren't open to crit so I'll just say I love to see more Rickter and his story and his excellent expressions when he gets to fight, I wanna see more!
