PYRAS- Per usual, you make the best of this lineless style. Though when you get into the real light/fleshy toned colors you tend to lose distinction. I notice the shade you chose for Karrin’s skin too closely matches her teeth so it kind of bleeds together into an odd sunspot on her face. I notice the same in the thawing out of ice page, but honestly my nitpicks are overshadowed by the cool encounter you got going on here. Way to showcase your opponent’s gadgets and dookickeys. I am digging Park’s Captain America-esque state before she gets warmed up. That said, you got quite the cadre of movie nods up in hurr! Someone must’ve been marathoning some sci fi while they were working on this comic. I’ll admit the pop culture references threw me, but they are a fun and don’t-take-it-too-serious bit of fun that definitely grew on me. I’m all about the fact you kept it silent and let your comic pages speak for themselves. I think it really improved your pacing and action page to page as you told your story. Bravo!
PETARVEE- Right away, simply by the thumbnails I was dazzled by the color story you weaved throughout from beginning to end. You have such a knack for color despite the restrictions you impose (what with the pink and gold). Your city scape is definitely a show stopper. To be honest, your backgrounds seem to never skimp and really enhance the story in giving the characters therein a rich world to tromp around in. I think overall though, it’s your speed that impresses. To know you work on updating a daily personal webcomic, busting out art for the forums jams AND doing a void comic battle ain’t no easy thing and you make it look effortless. I’m convinced you’ve made clones of yourself, tucked them away in a warehouse and they’re all hunched over their drawing boards

So awesome! Great job you two!
Pyras - I like the lack of dialogue, as it lets your body language shine through, and I think you've got some really great action here. Page 4 might be the best sequence with Park rushing out. Was that a Collector drinking ale? I loved all the references, and your storytelling is really on display here because you pulled it off without dialogue. Great work.
Petarvee - I love the way you ink, so cool and professional-looking. I love all the little details like action lines and sound effects. Overall the story was very cool too, with the little twist. I definitely can't wait to see more of Karrin in action!

@petarvee: WTF??? I just read your grayscale bb and then I come to THIS?? This is some excellent, professional looking shit right here. Loved every single page and I love how the saturation and value of the colors becomes progressively lighter/brighter as the characters interact more and more. Here you get a very great sense of how the characters are progressing as a relationship from an ingenious visual cue.
This comic is funny. This comic is moody, it is lovely. Can't wait to read more of Karrin Klash!

both of you were amazing i just can't decide who was the best! Can't you both be the best !?
...
...
i'm calm
Pyrras: The captain America-esque return is kind of cool ( but less cool that the in-orbit kaiju head... sick !) and Kim and Karrin's alchemy is also great ! Kim's little handicap sure appear problematic for nsfw stuff, ah !
overall, i enjoyed it, marvel style!
Petarvee: Those two were meant to meet each other! i feel all tingly, like when Greg and Rose attempted to fuse in SU ( STARS IN MY EEYYYYYYESSSS ) who knew watching Pacific Rim could lead to all this fun ^^ Loved it like fine tequila !

Yay it's up
Petarvee you made an amazing comic thanks for the battle, such good vibes during this match its been one of my most enjoyable in a while
NOTE to readers: yes except for the two lines this is a silent comic. Also there are several sci-fi references in my comic, can you spot them all?
