[float=right][/float]After many years of waiting, the Heavyweight Championship Tournament has returned, and we are nearing the conclusion! The participants have drawn some amazing comics so far, and it will only get better as we draw closer to crowning our champion. We've seen many old school members reappear to participate, and fight along side new-comers. We started out with 24 characters and only 7 remain. Why the odd number? Let's see, we have Rtv! vs. Caesar, Ponch Pomperelli vs. Andre, and last, but not least, a 3-way battle between Nex, Pandora, and Anya! We had some extremely close matches last round, and even resulted in a tie between Rtv! and Ponch Pomperelli, hence the 3-way battle this round. Besides the participants themselves, Toast, Angie, and Wei were all watching the vote record like hawks this week on the lookout for any suspicious activity.  Given the closeness of several matches, the results were re-checked for validity this morning.

Remember, this tournament is different than any other VOID has ever had. Not only will the winner earn the permanent title of Heavyweight Champ 2011, but they will have to defend their title of Champion in the years to come! That's right, so after the champ is declared, you can challenge them for their crown!

VOID version 5.0 has begun its slow roll out, beginning with a fresh skin on the forum.  The roll-out will proceed as pages are completed, so please continue to make use of the Bugs thread for any issues you spot and the Suggestions thread for any features you'd like to see added to the site.  Also, we're still seeking new banners for rotation.  So, feel free to draw up a new banner for the new look!
