Fren sounds like Scrappy Doo in my head, the way Cab writes him.
perhaps more in-depth analysis later

Gregly- Delightful! This was a warm, engaging little adventure. You really have a talent for creating likeable comics (for lack of a better word). Gwen made for a really fun leader to this party, It was refreshing to see an older female character who's so proactive and powerful. You also managed to give everyone else a little time in the spotlight, which I appreciate is a tough thing to balance in 8 pages.
Literally, my only complaint with this comic is I wish you had more time to slap on some shading and lighting just to give it more depth.
(Side note I'd love to colour your inks one day :3c)
Spirogs- I can't really say too much about this, since it's just thumbs, but I can certainly see the potential in them.
Cab- A beefy comic- I can tell you have the big picture in mind story-wise, I guess we'll have to see what happens next? I second Cy's point about your screen tones + inks improving.
Neens- I'm a sucker for your art style. I wish there was more here, but I'm still glad there's something because that something is really fun and adorable. I love how you drew everyone!

Gregly - Really cute comic, I wish you’d finished the ending! Like Fearn said, the characterisation is excellent, every character her is unique and also likeable. Great chemistry within the group too, everyone feels like they fit together and it’s hard to pick a favourite member Though Fren is obscenely adorable.
Spirogs - I appreciated the labels, hope Valka’s extremely comic is complete!
Cab - Really impressive that you produced 29 rendered pages in 2 weeks. I think you’re starting to find a comfortable balance between monochrome shading and plain inks with screen tones, the first page had a nice composition value-wise.
Neens - Loved what I saw so far, was super cute and expressive! Hope to see more of Fren in the future.

gregly: it tears me apart to see - and i'm assuming here that this is just unfinished and not just left real open-ended for round 2 - a comic by you unfinished, because you know i always adore your art and writing style, and this is no exception. i love the maternal centripetal force gwen exudes here.
spirogs: there's not a whole lot to go off of here, but i do have to thank you for the labels, because they really save a comic stuck in the thumbs like this from being totally unreadable and unvotable, and a number of unfinished comics could benefit from it :0 i just wish i could see the choreography you envisioned here for myself!
neens: there's even less to go off of here, sorry :/ for what it's worth, the inks that are here are excellent!

Greg: This was truly adorable little comic, although it entirely feels just like an exposition and well, feels like arc 1 of a three arc story. I think even in, or especially in a tournament setting it would be still good to see a comic that has a sort of conclusion within itself. Other than that, art is very nice, although it seems you ddidn't necessarily have time to fully render it? characterisation is also great, there are so many chatacters in this and each of them has a very distinct personality. Overall this is super cute and reads like a good comic for kids! (in a good way). And I also adore how you adapted Gwen and Regi for this! Gold points from me!

You all did a fantastic job on these comics!
One of these day's I'd love to see Cab and Gregly team up. I believe you two could come out with a 100 page comic with a banger story

Nina- these pages look great and crisp, as usual! I really like the way that nasty chicken leg looks, a fine prize for a garbage diver. Would have liked to see what you had planned but I know life happens.. congratulations on the new job!
Cab- this comic is so big! You had said on discord that Gwen didnt show up much, so I was pleasantly surprised when she is revealed inside the big old golem. He looks awesome by the way! Quite interested in seeing more of Lynch and Veruca's story. The special effects and sfx are great, and I liked connor's scan ability.
Spirogs- I really like the foci setting and the monster in this. it's too bad it's just roughs, but I appreciate that it's readable because of the clean word bubbles and the health bar idea was smart to show who's speaking. The fight is cool and everyone has a chance to shine!

It’s rough that so many of us ran into circumstances that kept up from putting our best foot forward.
These are all really fun ANYWAY!
Good showing everyone

I wasn't able to put in all the stuff I originally wanted, and had to cut a few ideas and panels or two but in the end I am happy with this tale, I enjoyed this campaign and I loved playing with everyone's characters, I hope everyone had a good time, now we can rest, recharge, grab a potion/or elixir at the near by Tavern and await for our further adventures in the land of Void.

What kind of tales will this battle foretell? We aren't sure but one thing is that is for sure that it will be quite entertaining

Spirogs- We already spoken on this in dms, but we will face off again as there some much more potential for Valka and Lynch that we both barely scratch the surface to, when the time comes we will battle again :-)
Neens- first congrats on your new job, Void is fun but it don't pay the bills, so its understandable it could not finish it, but those two pages you did share are amazing and I would've enjoyed seeing more, you really are super talented and it shows in these two pages, I wish you good fortunes on your future works.
This was a fun event, and I would love to fight everyone again sometime, you all deserve a round of applause, take a bow, we manage to finish round 1 (and the semi-finals) of dmod, as round 2 is considered the finals. (Round 3 is a secret bonus fight) , see you around void, y'all.
