It was fun watching you go through the process of drawing and revising this character and her intro on Discord! I love your bright colors and stylized shapes, and your city backgrounds feel lived in (despite the lack of other people, which is something to keep in mind for the future). I can't wait to see more of this character!

ok brownkid! this is way better than expected. cool inner monolouge and overall consistency and creative execution are really really lifting this up. One can very well see where this might go while it holds enough proper cliffhanger to let me urge for more

my only real complaint is your use of colors. the vibrant colors do suite your style BUT i would love to see more use of desaturated areas to lead the readers eye.
I admit i shyed away from reading at first due to that overwhelming me and actually putting your comic in an unfair spot of prejudice.

YO Rocket Punch Siouxsie, I am so hyped for this character.  She's just the right kind of style and coolness factor I like in a character.   Your vibrant, kinda graffiti inspired, look is full of energy.  I'm just excited to see what she has in store.

Quality- excellent vibrant colors and stylish design.
Creativity- To the point and punchy (heh) and has some fun layouts and locals.
Entertainment- Got a good sense of her personality from the dialogue.  Sounds like she'd sell out humanity for a jetpack like another certain canadian lets player i know of.

oogh, this comic is so visually striking! i love everything you're doing here, it is candy for my eyes. the story you've set up is simple but very open-ended so i'm excited to see where you'll go with it!

I said it before and I'll say it again- this intro is such a visual treat. Lollipop grade colors, thick chunky lines and some bangin' art style and stylization to boot. This gives me such old void vibes but with a wee modern twist. What a great intro!

the 2000s Vibes are strong in this one

Congrats on getting her in. I mentioned it in the accepting email but the only crit i have is the word bubbles without any dark borders are a bit too saturated and hard to read sometimes. also you should work on making the tails of your word bubbles end in thinner points.

I absolutely love the colors all throughout! Bright and stylish, and the use of halftones in a few backgrounds looks great too. I can see how the colors might be too bright, but personally the saturation looks good on my screen. It feels like you were able to explain quite a bit about Siouxsie in this intro, from her courier job, to her personality (in ignoring that "account overdrawn" message ahahahh) and setting her up with a goal to track down the person that sold her the glove. It's no easy feat to fit that all into 3 pages and I say you pulled it off really well! Great work, can't wait for more!

I can’t really think of a critique other than as an intro I wish we had got to see a little more, at least maybe gotten a hint at what the glove can do.
Aside from that, this comic is fantastic! Design, panel layout, colors, it’s got it all. This comic really kicks ass.

Congrats on entering the Void! This is a fantastic intro. You showcase Siouxsie’s personality and some of her situation really well, and give a hook for her next comic already. Her character design and the bike’s design feel like a cohesive unit. I really like the sort of jagged placement of the thought bubbles in the last panel on page 1, it gives Siouxsie’s internal thoughts a rhythm that I can “hear” extremely clearly in my head, and it just adds to the spunky vibe of her character along with the neon palette. I also liked the humour of her phone’s notification.

While I liked the colour choices, I did feel they were a bit too saturated as they hurt my eyes. I had to turn my brightness all the way down so I could read without wincing, and then it was hard to read the dialogue. Also, you might wanna look up references of tight pants - there’s tight, and then there’s straight up vacuum packed. She must have one hell of a wedgie if we can see the exact outline of her buttcheeks and entire crack (page 1).

PS Eyyyy I THOUGHT Siouxsie was a reference to Siouxsie and the Banshees! Cool to see that’s the case.

Your tenacity paid off on this comic! A vibrant art style (that kind of reminds me of Jet Set Radio Future), lots of personality, and the perfect combination of show and tell. I’ll second the silhouette bit, but otherwise this intro rocks.

Since I saw your sneak peeks I've wanted to see the end result so bad!!
I was NOT disappointed, this is such a feast to the eyes- her silhouette kinda gets lost in the first page, but other than that- I loved the choices you made color-wise, LOVED the palette. At times it could be a little too overly-saturated, but nothing to really burn the retinas. Very stylish!
Siouxsie just not giving a rat's ass about the other email and the note made me crack up
