Red - CRIES this was so cute, poor Sam The fact that he needed pumpkin spice lattes to live was tragically funny. I also really loved the look of white characters against a neon background.

Fluff - I love Sam so much! Both his adorable and fucking demon faces are excellent. If he dies I wanna fight him with Gold in October >:3 Cat Shenanigans (TM). Love the autumn palette throughout the comic too! I agree that the blood looked a little solid though.

These are both pretty funny and well drawn too.

I honestly want to see more adventures with these two, both comics were so nice.

The colors really pop out in Red's, which I enjoy, and it's such a cute story for such a sad death. RIP Sam. I love the limited palette in Fluff's, and that face is killing me at the end of the comic LOL.

Red:
Oh my God, the colors and lines are absolutely GORGEOUS! Very very lovely, it's a feast for the eyes. The story is so heart-breaking, and the way you portrayed Sam is so adorable. Makes it even more impactful at the end. That is also a very clever way to defeat your opnent!

Fluffs:
You have no idea how *obsessed* I am with Sam's expression at the end. I haven't laughed that hard in a long time. It's grim, violent and unexpected. Amazing round, especially since it's just two pages- but the way the punch was delivered? aaabsolutely fantastic! My one and only quip would be that the blood coming out from her mouth looks a bit solid, but it's still clear what happened

Amazing job to both of you! definitely one of my fav rounds in this tournament!

Both of these were fun and I liked the work arounds on both to make this murderous.

Red: I sympathise with what you had to do here and I think you did it really well. I didn't actually notice Sam shrinking on first read- but that's a nice visual touch. The latte dumping panel is ace. The colours weren't much my thing, I think they were a bit at odds.

Fluff: Cracking punchline. Lovely pallet, too. BGs felt a little warped and wispy. I particularly liked the angle on page 1, panel 2!

Red: cute and sad tale, love the colors, though I wish we had gotten at least one cool background in your cool styles

Fluffsaprime: Great freaking face and props for getting a reaction with two pages instead of three. You did get some backgrounds in but panels are still a bit too much on the cramped side

Both of these came out really well. Fluff made the little guy super creep and I appreciate the old Halloween threat throwback. Red’s I found the ending satisfying, I always enjoy fiction where dangerous killers have a soft spot for animals.

Hahaha I had such inner turmoil about killing him because he’s so cute and a kitty… and I completely just overlooked that creepy face of his on the design sheet tbh, so when I saw your ending I laughed so hard because I made them such a precious little baby lol. Yours was so good! It looked great and the colors were lovely, great job Fluff!!!
