\"both stories need a lot of work \"... thats kinda vague if u ask me...
but then agian.. i dunno solo your critics on other battles arent very well researched... if you want to offer good critisim, be less vague and if just the over all theme doesnt fit your personal taste then.. well ..i dunno what to say...
vince dont be too hard on yourself, you would have had this had i not actully finished like i didnt expect to do in what was going on, and ya the final page u posted hurt you a bit, almost would have been fine if u put it as a first page, and minus the text.  and ya your funny, but MOOOOOOOOOO x_X some people probably did get the mooing dog part lol.  still...
DOGGIE?!? noooooooooo! <3  the only other crit is that stadium..i think i told u before, its probably just me, but stadium based battles are really hard to drag out and make intresting, especaily twice.  sides, way too yugio/pokemon i f u ask me x_X.  buuut anyway rant rant rant... make a boha2, and cause some carnage!

I admit that I didn\'t throw enough on the story part, but the 5th page was the bonus thing... which it has nothing to do with the story.

qtr - very poetic - I loved it.
vince - I gave you the edge in quality, but the story didn\'t do as much for me.  The last page was a bit of a buzzkill, since it didn\'t have much to do with anything.  It looked beautiful, though.

Great comic Qt, had a great feel to it and the art adds to that alot.  Hey and all the references were awesome.  (and the Bluesman\'s cameo was great too)

Vince, art was great (wicked coloring) but the story was a little flat.  I too would have loved a gritty dog fight with claws, fangs and fur flying!  Oh well, maybe next time. JV

QTR- I like the art style you\'ve got going on. It fits the character well. nice work for such a short time.

Vince-teehehehe.

Qtrnevermore- I love your style... I do however think you relay too much on the text to carry the story. Well written as it is, I would like to see your panels do more of the story telling then the text. For example pages one through three you get without the text… but page four you really need the text to really get it. So if there is a crit I could give it would be that… work on the visual story telling a bit more.

Vincent- Yeah as others have pointed out, the lack of background is hurting you here. You put a fair amount of detail into the characters… that ends up leaving the background bagging for attention. Also I think you could use some more variation in your panels point of view. I believe some of your panels would have more impact if they were shown from different angles. It would also help the flow of the pages.

Good battles from the both of ya!

QTRnevermore: And you said you were going to default, while not as colorful as vinces, you defenetly had a very dark and creepy vibe all through out the comic. The story was very well thought out and I enjoyed reading this very much! I think you\'ve earned my vote.

Vince: Great art from you dude, but like the others have been saying in the chat, you need to put in some backgrounds man! Also, even though I did like the comedic twist to your last battle, it just did not seem to work with a character like Black Dog... personaly I\'d like to see one hell of a fight next time man, have each character tear the fucking shit out of one another!! Other than that, despite how the last page looks, I think you should of left it out... Sorry man. You did great though!

Both of you kicked ass, keep it up or something!

wow, that was something.

Vincent, my votes go to you for quality 100%. Unfortunately, while the story was funny, it still seemed bland.

QT, I love the feel you gave the entire piece. It was like watching a good noir-jazz film. The quality was a little on the iffy side, but the entertainment and creativity was gold.

This should prove to be an exciting explosion of art and color. I can't wait to see what you two come up with!
