Your cel shading is awesome and I absolutely love how expressive your character poses are. I'll be keeping an eye on you in a creepy stalker way.

Yeah, I think some of it was reaching. The taste in music alone makes them lose credibility with me though. Is that from an anime I'm not familiar with?

It's like a photo shoot! It's funny you mention disney though cause I got the disney princess vibe from the third one... Down to a point, obviously. XD

I think it's the hair and the sleeves. It's neat to see all these different takes though.

I'm diggin the style, dude. I find a lot of chibi stuff to be hit or miss, but you've got it locked down pretty well. Since Noche is looking nice, are there anymore details you can share about him? Is he a Pyko villain?

Nice Dured. That art is really clean, I like it and I'm looking forward to it. Though the shading on her face looks a little like a 5'o'clock shadow. Aside from that though, I love the way this is colored.

"Must really need the attention."

Ironic choice of words given the meaningful comment it's a part of.

Art Jams / Re: Character Retcon Jam!

In the final year of their time at community college, two business students barely floating by happened across each other. As often happens with a college boy and girl meeting, one thing led to another and a few careless decisions later they found themselves anchored down with a child. The two stuck together, working fast food to pay off the colossal waste of money they had spent their last few years pursuing, all the while raising a hyperactive little girl named Danielle. Danielle was very bright, a fact that largely went unnoticed by her parents. After a few years of being ignored despite her focused efforts in school, she began to act up. She started fights, stole things, and kissed boys! While cycling through the list of "things rebellious children do as desperate pleas for attention from their parents," she began cutting herself.

The rush and sensation of it was something Danielle had never experienced before (and by this point she'd experienced quite a bit). She became fascinated with how such an act could produce these feelings. She began to study the human body and all its quirks. Pressure points, the nervous system, prostate massage, her marvelous mind absorbed it all. She knew countless ways to leave someone convulsing in pleasure or writhing in pain, and yet, she told herself, there was so much more to learn. Her parents were her first experiments. For four days she kept them restrained as she experimented and documented her findings. Realizing that someone may come snooping around when her parents had been missing for so long she gathered some things and left to find other hapless victims. Like a pop singer she toured the country, drawing men in with her good looks and using them as lab rats before moving on to the next city. Arriving in Void she was almost overwhelmed with the diversity. Furries, aliens, little... Whatever the hell Sketchy is, there were now so many new anatomies to explore. She decided to set up shop here. With a few precautions, she could make Void her new laboratory for quite some time...

Abilities:
Danielle has an extensive knowledge of anatomy and is capable of causing anything from uncontrollable laughter to instant paralysis with a single finger.

It is this same knowledge that allows her to use all of her muscles to their maximum potential, making her much stronger than her size would let on.

She carries her mother's cello case filled with everything from acupuncture needles and sedatives to knives and a rolling pin that she's gathered on her journeys. This also includes her various notes from past experiments.

Weaknesses:
Danielle is so fascinated by anatomy that it's difficult for her to walk away from an experiment before completing it. This has nearly caused her to get caught on more than one occasion.

Danielle, in addition to her masochistic enjoyment of her victim's cries, is also a bit of a sadist and will occasionally still cut herself purely for the stimulation.

Gotta admit though, it is a little funny that you ask for no porn and yet the generator greets you with "Who's on top?" and "Who's on bottom?"

Surely you can see where people might get the wrong idea. ;)

School definitely should come before void, so accepting the loss and focusing on the schoolwork would be a perfectly understandable answer. I've dealt with that. I know others who have dealt with that. Sure, life's NOT fair, which is the point of the situation. It sucks there aren't 522 hours in a day to get everything done and things pop up. It's just like you say, "roll with it all and make the best outta it." If you're going to kill yourself over a loss in a comic battle you seriously shouldn't be doing it in the first place. It's apparently a moot point though as he has decided to stay in the tournament and just do the best he can. I admire that.

I have to agree with Carlito on this one. It's nothing personal, obviously. You're an amazing artist and a fun person to talk to. But something like half the people who applied for this tournament didn't make it in, you were given the opportunity in someone else's place. If you knew you wouldn't have the time then you shouldn't have tried out, but more likely things have gotten hectic recently, which is just part of life and happens to everyone.

It's good to get that out of the way before anyone actually DID start random boob and wiener showings, but I doubt that this thread was going that far, Jho. No need to worry too much. (Unless of course, Pyras dropped something and then edited it out before I saw it. In which case, ignore this comment and replace it with an echoing of Jho's sentiments. :P )

As far as the "purpose" of the generator, Graten hasn't put any official rules on the use of the generator that I know of. I chose to use the generator for the purpose of matching my character up with someone and regardless of whether that makes me egotistical or not, by damn that's what I want to do. :D

I had fun with this generator. Since it pains me to know that the most disturbing pictures of Boek weren't even drawn by me, I decided I'd draw the first three pairings that boek showed up in. Here's one.

You're constantly hyping your battles, Pyras. You really go the extra mile. I admire that.
