yea, privately getting opinions is good. but writing isn't too difficult to critique, a list of general rules and tips for writing can definitely be made up for reference. comics are art and writing and both have objective rules that make them good and bad. and as for not being 'educated' enough, a lot of knowing what is good and bad writing is just common sense, you don't have to be an English major or something to know. you can easily tell if a characters dialog is natural or not or if the dialog is helping the story move forward. also nothings wrong with an opinion even if it is uneducated. i think a writing section would be handy.
also good writing and story telling go hand in hand. you can't usually have one without the other. as for what good writing involves, some things would be the idea: how well its conveyed to the reader and how it the events that occur within the story flow; dialog: needs to help show the theme or idea you are focusing your story on or it should develop the nature of the character among other things. usually dialog that we'd use in real life bogs down a story, so don't be afraid to cut boring or unessential dialog out. being able to understand characters and why they choose to do certain things is important too. also making sure you don't have bouts of author intrusion where the reader is taken out of the story by some spot of bad writing or a mistake (ex: having a character tell another character something they'd already know just so the reader knows, it interrupts the belief in the story)
these are some links on good writing too
