G.LO: I love the story for this and the whole setting and all the stuff you put in it. Reading through it the pacing is pretty solid, I think you did a good job of having one thing logically lead to the next with hints of the last thing as you move on. Like from page 7 to page 8 showing the dead solider is a good way of transitioning us from that action to them moving on. If you're worried about pacing one thing to keep in mind is avoid mid-page transitions and make sure there are connections from the last panel of one page to the first panel of the next one. However you did a good job with this comic and I enjoy your stlye and want to see more comics of your style

Syraxis: I really enjoy the colors in this and the fight was really cool. There really isn't much of a story here but it is still enjoyable regardless and I do want to see more of Heratik.

Nice!  Love some monster battling actions.

G.Lo I love your style and I would love to battle you someday.  I do see some clean up issues though and while that might be a time thing, I just wanna suggest some tips and tricks in case you might not know them yet.  Do you use PS?  The quick and easy way to separate out your contrast is the levelling tool.  Make whites whiter and blacks blacker etc.  But those pesky pencil marks?  Well before you do that separation what you can do it copy the layer, then choose to multiply the layer to darken up the pencils.  Then you can use a Burn Tool with the Range on Midtones to darken the lines you want to be darkened.  Conversely you can use the Dodge Tool on Highlights to erase stray pencil marks.  Way easier and quicker than like having to use the Eraser on every speck.

As for the monster action...I feel you could be a little more dynamic.  Big honking monsters need more energy and exaggeration to their movements.  It's a bit harder to train I think but just watch your favorite scenes and try to capture that energy.  I think that's the best and easiest way to train yourself really.

Syraxis you still have a lot of pratfalls of digital art going on.  From those pixellated edges, colors that aren't meant for less bright monitors and an over reliance on effects.  Page five is particularly jarring with that clear crisp font up against that blurry effect.

Not everyone likes to use gutters, I realize.  But it would really help here.  Some sort of separation between what's going on.  Or just any white.  There's no white at all.  Just need some use of negative space in composition.

hey good stuff you guys we need more Heratik menace

G.Lo: There's a few spots that could use some better composition like panel 3 of page 7 in the hallway and bottom panel page 10, there's a bit too much empty space around. The pacing helps with giving us time to feel the brief bond with Satari and Heratik so I think you did good on that, and I like the horror ending

Syraxis: This one's pretty solid, even if the backgrounds are mostly minimal you put them to good use with your coloring and rendering

I miss both of you guys so I hope to see more comics sooner than later

Submitted!

Thank you so much for battling me, Syraxis! This was a total blast to work on during the Halloweenies!

Obvies feel free to critique me on whatever, but I'd love to know in particular how my pacing was. I'm so bad at page management, I cut this down a lot so I could finish it in time. Was there enough info? Not enough? Was there anything I should have added/taken away? Thanks in advance dudes!
