A human being for the most part. She possesses a rare genetic mutation 'Inspecto Intelligo'- this allows her to explore different planes. By placing her thumb and forefinger together she creates a 'lens' though which she can see a being for what it 'really' is. A normal human being may look like a complete monster or a total saint through this lens- their personality or 'soul' (whichever you prefer) is physically represented. Depending on how a being shows up through her 'lens' will depend on how she chooses to deal with them. Usually it results in a violent encounter- Delighla sees herself as doing humanity a favour by destroying the more monstrous members of the species. She sees her gradual loss of her own humanity (and therefore her own reflection through the lens) as a noble sacrifice.

She isn't fussy about weaponry- her personal preference is bludgeoning items to swing about, like bats and axes so if she can use something like that to despatch of a victim, she will.

The tattoo/branding on her arm given to her by hunters of mutants like her. She despised it at first but now wears it proudly as a symbol of her crusade to 'clean up humanity'.

She has an Alsation dog as a companion- Rex. He's in the intro comic.
